“Reasonable”

It is almost impossible to find such a quality hotel with such a low prize since it is walking distance to downtown Jax.

Area recommendations

St John Town Center: There is everything. Regency square: Prices are reasonable.

“Cost Effective For Conference”

I stayed at this hotel for a conference that was taking place across the bridge. It was an easy walk to the San Marco district as well as the Landing. The room was clean and well lit, plus the front desk was helpful and extremely responsive to our request for additional pillows. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with good access to downtown then you can't beat this place. Additionally, it is located about 100 feet from the tram that runs across the bridge to downtown if you don't want to walk.

Area recommendations

San Marco district is a cute division of the city with small restaurants, a theatre, and a great ice cream place (the Marblehead Creamery).

“Good Value”

I found this to be a very good value hotel. Close to the river, you can take a water taxi across to Jacksonville Landing or walk the bridge. Service at the counter was efficient and friendly. The room was a little tired but worked well and was great value for money.

“Don't Stay at Extended Stay-Riverwalk”

Initially, no one was at the reception desk upon arrival. When some did appear, they were unfamiliar with my reservation, and altho a handicapped room was requested, I was not given one. That mistake was, however, corrected. I found the desk staff to be functionally illiterate and totally unfamiliar with the surrounding area to make suggestions for restaurants, etc.

“Convenient downtown Jacksonville location”

This hotel isn't 5 star but if you are looking for an inexpensive hotel in downtown Jacksonville that is clean and reasonable, this is a safe bet.

The view at the Riverwalk about 200-300 ft. behind the hotel is a kodak moment along with the 5 star restaurants there is also a place for anyones spiritual needs.

“Great value! Staff very courteous and attentive to my requests”

Staff on all shifts were friendly and helpful. They never got annoyed when I asked for anything, especially when I locked my key card in my room. I am SO GLAD I didn't stay at the hotel where our conference was held. The staff there was very aloof, didn't seem to work as a team and even started an argument with me when I complained about noise from an adjoining WEDDING RECEPTION scheduled NEXT DOOR to our CONFERENCE!! The Extended Stay staff was shocked to hear that guests would be spoken to and/or treated this way. I recommended E.S. to severeal other friends already.
