My cousin Vinny stayed here.

NO ONE mentioned that there is a train which runs less than 50 feet from the hotel with horns blaring all day AND NIGHT long. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they offered us EAR PLUGS. You can't make this up.

Nice !

Pros: Location, location location! Breakfast and great service!
Cons: Bathrooms could use a bit of updating.
Location: harbor , shops and places to eat all within walking distance. Beach is nearby and tons of history. Take the river cruise it is beautiful . Wild horses
Great hotel steps away from the harbor and walking distance to everything. The hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a train that goes by but I didn't find it bothersome at all. There is a nice pool area and a great free breakfast every morning. Not just muffins and cereal. Eggs, waffles ect. The Main St is right there and is filled with shops and places to eat. Harbor on one end and 2 miles at the end of Center is the beach. You couldn't ask for a better location on this beautiful island! The staff was helpful and their southern hospitality is the best. We did have an issue with a leak in our shower and told 2 staff members but it never got fixed. I will say though the hotel was full and the staff was quite busy. The rooms are somewhat dated and ours was small but it is very clean and comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel. We plan on returning to this beautiful island and will stay here again.

Pros: Very handy to downtown
Cons: The food for the breakfast was good, but trying to get the food and get a seat was difficult
The staff were very accommodating, but we were disappointed that the swimming pool did not open till 10 am, a must drive to the beach. On the whole a very enjoyable break

Excellent location, beautiful lobby and breakfast/happy hour area. Proximity to the village (shops, restaurants, bars, etc.) is perfect.

Good location. Nice facility.

Pros: Location. Comfort.
Location: Restaurants, shops, historic sites just a short walk.
We were looking for a place to spend one night on Amelia Island and this fit the bill. Location is perfect for exploring the town and the rest of the island, dining, etc. Were warned that there might be noise from trains which pass close by but that was not a problem. We were upgraded to a suite which also helped.

Great place to stay!

Pros: The staff was very supportive. We followed their suggestions and were pleased with the results. The lobby are was beautiful and a nice place to mingle
Cons: The bed pillows were plentiful but just too hard for my tastes. Parking was difficult so we parked off the property the first night then moved .
Location: Lived the shopping and restaurants 2nd St. Bistro was so good . The service was a little slow for lunch but it was worth the wait!
We enjoyed our stay in the harbor area. Hampton Inn staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs Nice area for breakfast more fruit would have been even nicer. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The pillows were just too hard for me. The historic district was fun and the selection of eateries made choosing a challenge. It was a simple thing to drive to the beach; they were clean and beautiful.
