Great hotel with nice view.Posted Jun 25, 2015
This hotel has very quick check in service. Desk attendant said the room assigned was not ready and gave us an upgrade to allow a room. The room was very clean. The service was great and friendly. The parking was easy and quick. The only problem was using door card keys.

Pros: Location, Location, Location! Beautiful décor and very comfortable room
Location: The Salty Pelican was a big hit with our group and so was Brett's Waterway Café. Lots of shops and other restaurants nearby.
Seven of us met to celebrate various birthdays and anniversaries and had a great time. Gorgeous hotel and so close to everything. The breakfast room is stunning, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Great hotel in the historic district of Amelia!Posted May 12, 2015
Cons: Close to the rail tracks, but the room was still very quiet.
Location: There are so many great shops and restaraunts within walking distance. Boat tours to Cumberland Island are located across the street.
Nice hotel with great amenities. Breakfast was good, the room was nice and the river is across the street. Perfect location. Historic Amelia Island is very safe and the hotel has cameras everywhere to make you even safer. As a female traveler, I was comfortable and content staying there by myself. I highly recommend this hotel!

My cousin Vinny stayed here.Posted Apr 13, 2015
NO ONE mentioned that there is a train which runs less than 50 feet from the hotel with horns blaring all day AND NIGHT long. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they offered us EAR PLUGS. You can't make this up.

Nice !Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Location, location location! Breakfast and great service!
Cons: Bathrooms could use a bit of updating.
Location: harbor , shops and places to eat all within walking distance. Beach is nearby and tons of history. Take the river cruise it is beautiful . Wild horses
Great hotel steps away from the harbor and walking distance to everything. The hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a train that goes by but I didn't find it bothersome at all. There is a nice pool area and a great free breakfast every morning. Not just muffins and cereal. Eggs, waffles ect. The Main St is right there and is filled with shops and places to eat. Harbor on one end and 2 miles at the end of Center is the beach. You couldn't ask for a better location on this beautiful island! The staff was helpful and their southern hospitality is the best. We did have an issue with a leak in our shower and told 2 staff members but it never got fixed. I will say though the hotel was full and the staff was quite busy. The rooms are somewhat dated and ours was small but it is very clean and comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel. We plan on returning to this beautiful island and will stay here again.

Nice hotel convenient to down town and restaurantsPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Very handy to downtown
Cons: The food for the breakfast was good, but trying to get the food and get a seat was difficult
The staff were very accommodating, but we were disappointed that the swimming pool did not open till 10 am, a must drive to the beach. On the whole a very enjoyable break
