I've been staying at the hotel for a few weeks now and everything was good, as usual. The only thing was they didn't have the type of room I booked. I made a call to the manager this week before I got there and was assured it wouldn't happen going forward. Please check your reservations when booking through a third party and you'll be ok with this hotel.

I will not stay here again. The customer service was great. However, the room smelled like mold and mildew. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture was extremely out dated. Everything was old including the refrigerator and coffee maker. The majority of the afternoon there was construction being done, and I could hear the noisy neighbors. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone!

Cons: I couldn't seem to get the central air conditioner to work properly so I spent most of the time being a little cold.
Location: There's a sports bar and many restaurants very nearby. When I get in from work that's all I'm looking for.
I've been coming to work in Jacksonville from NYC for about a month now. I've stayed at a few different hotels and so far this one is the best. The location is excellent. It's right off the highway and surrounded by everything from supermarkets, drug stores, bars, restaurants and even a little shopping. My room was like an apartment complete with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave big enough to cook a whole chicken, dishes (in the dishwasher) and even a few pots and pans to cook on the two burners. The bedroom was like a master bedroom with a sink and vanity area separate from the toilet and the shower. There was even a bed tray to serve someone a meal in bed. The grounds were quaint and well kept including an area for grilling, a basketball court, pool and jacuzzi. If you're in Jacksonville and you're going to be there a while and you like the creature comforts of home, this is the place to stay. Oh, did I mention to country style breakfast? Yum.

Pros: the staff was nice and helpful
Cons: the breakfast on busy days needed to have more then 1 person replenishing the items, and the tle they used is glazed, so it's very slippery when wet.
The first room we stayed in was on the 1st floor, the rom was pretty nice but it had had some recent water damage because you could smell it through out the room and the carpets looked clean but hadn't been cleaned in a while, we have a infant so we always check the carpets, the second night we upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, and it was a lot better, spacious and clean, the best part about the hotel was the fact that it is pet friendly, hopefully everyone that travels with pets clean up behind them like I do.

Cons: I was disappointed that the pool was not available. One reason I chose that hotel was because it advertised having a pool.
Location: Easy to find, right off 95 .
I enjoyed having a suite (first time ever). I felt safe. Breakfast were adequate but routine.

We stayed at this hotel for The Players Golf Tournament & it was a great stay. Very convenient, staff was great. The had a good breakfast & also serve light dinner during the week, altho we had other plans so we didn't try it. Great stay for the price. Hopefully we can stay there again next year.

Where do I start?! Old facility which the hallways and room had a strong smell of mold! There was a random wet spot on the carpet in the room which probably contributed to the strong odor. There wasn't proper drainage in the shower so every time a shower was taken half the bathroom floor had water on it so we had to pile up towels to keep water from flowing all over bathroom floor. There were little black bugs in bathroom which probably came from random cracks/holes in bathroom. The 3 DAYS that I was there, I received NO HOUSE KEEPING!!! When I called about the problem they told me to just put the towels and trash in the hallway!!!! So all that water on the floor and wet towels so guess who ended having to take care of the mess!? I did!! I had to pick up the wet towels from the shower and put them in the hallway and the trash as well! Then I called for towels which I had to keep calling for then which took about 45 minutes to get them!!! Then another time that I called, they told me that I would have to go and get them myself! Everyday I had to make a journey to front desk to update my room keys because for some reason the keys would stop working (no, I didn't have them anywhere near cell phones or magnets). The staff was rude and not helpful at all! They didn't even seem to care about all the problems I was having with the room!!! It was a terrible stay and the only reason I stayed is because I booked the room thru expedia and the room was non refundable! Very disappointed!!

At check-in I booked room for extra night. Credit card and ID provided and paperwork signed. Walked into non-smoking room and smelled smoke. 1 small garbage can in kitchen area with no extra garbage bags. Walls extremely thin and heard doors slamming and people walking/talking at all hours. Housekeeping consisted of pulling blanket up over bed. No linen change, no clean towels(even after asking for them) and did not vacuum or clean. Breakfast was cold and on 2nd day by 930 was completely cleaned up. We returned at 1am on our 2nd day and card key would not work. Had to walk to front of hotel to find they never processed my card when I booked the 2nd night although credit card and ID was given. After 30 minutes we got into the room, again uncleaned and dirty towels. Doors were slamming by 7am. Gave up and packed to check out. Went to front desk and was asked for my credit card and ID because the person at 1am did not process it. Told clerk this was the 3rd time I had to give this info and was locked out last night, and dirty room and was not happy with experience. The director of guest services(per his name tag) was standing there and offered no input or apology. I would rate this hotel into my top 3 worst hotel experiences ever....and this is from an ex travel agent and airline employee so I have seen a lot. Would never stay here again!!!
