“Clean and comfortable stay”

Checked in late at night. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was nice as well.

We talked to some friends who also stayed at the same time, in this hotel. They were told by the adjoining Hilton Garden Inn staff to use the monorail which was near the hotel to get to Jacksonville Landing. They also were able to connect to a bus to the stadium after they got over the river on the monorail. The front desk staff at Homewood Suites never told us about this transportation which was available. Instead we drove our car across the river and paid for public parking two times. The only thing the staff told us was not to walk after dark. They said this when we asked if it was safe to walk over. They were very lacking in knowledge of the area. When we asked about restaurants they gave us a printed list and did recommend one restaurant which was good, however. The monorail would have been very convenient and would have been what we were looking for.
