“You can't go wrong with a Hyatt property. Ever!”

Very smooth transaction. No problems what-so-ever. Loved how the reservation information was repeated back to me prior to booking with my credit card. Agent was very professional. I would use expedia in the future.

Area recommendations

Downtown or Airport. Though Downtown can be a little more costly once parking fees and food costs are added in. There are plenty of restaurants very close to the Airport and it's free to park. Also, easy access to freeway.

“Amazing value”

I was very impressed with the Hyatt Jacksonville Airport. The rooms were very spacious. We had a room with 2 doubles and there was a seperate seating area with a very large couch. There was also a desk that you could set up a laptop on to do work and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator. The entire room was very clean. The beds were more comfortable than most hotel beds and the linens were nice and clean also. All of the staff that I encountered were very pleasant. I was in town for a wedding so I didn't get a chance to check out any of the amenities that were offered. The one complaint that I had was with the continental breakfast. There was not much offered at the breakfast, no hot items at all unless you paid a ridiculous amount for them. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and a lousy free breakfast would not turn me off of staying here again in the future. The extremely spacious rooms more than made up for the lacking breakfast. Our family of four easily fit into the room with plenty of room to spare. We could have fit at least 2 more people into the room and still not felt cramped and this is not the case in most hotel rooms I have stayed in.

“Best Location”

Only one negative comment-small bathroom. Everything else was perfect, except no bagels (weekend).

“Would return in a heartbeat!”

One of the most unique rooms I have ever stayed in. All of the hotel staff were friendly and quickly responsive to any need. 24 hour shuttle to nearby airport, plus complimentary shuttle service to anywhere withing a three-mile radius. We used the shuttle to get get a meal at a nearby restaurant. I would recommend the hotel without reservation to anyone! If ever i return to Jacksonville, this is definitely where I would stay.

Area recommendations

A great place to stay when cruising. Hotel van picked us up at the airport and the hotel staff arranged for round trip transfer to the cruise pier (nominal fare). All of the transfers were relaxed and timely, making for a positive experience over all. there are not many restaurants close to the hotel, but the complimentary shuttle service can get you to/from many restaurants, shopping, etc. More than makes up for not having restaurant proximity!

“Same experience from other Hyatt Place Hotels”

From the start: great service... Called for the Airport Shuttle and it arived promptly to pick me up. Fast Check-in and was happily surprised that they could hold one of my bags until I came back from another trip to the same hotel a few days later. Overall, very happy with the hotel!

“Very good hotel”

My family (three other adults) and I spent four nights here while visiting family and friends in northern Florida and southern Georgia. It was very conveniently located and we found the area to be more than adequate to meet our needs. There was a shopping area very close which had plenty of restaurants, a Walmart and other shopping options. The hotel had a very nice breakfast included with the stay. It included: fresh fruit, cereals, bagels or muffins, instant oatmeal, sausage gravy and biscuits, juices and tea/coffee. They also had a menu from which you could order anytime of day We found it to be rather expensive, and so we did not use it. However, more than once, we had leftovers from a restaurant and we able to use their plates and microwave to warm them up. Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel.
