Nice hotel but poor room acousticPosted Jan 5, 2015
We were stayed on the first floor ( Olivia 's room). That's the only option if you are bringing your pet along with you. Everything was great except the poor room acoustic. It is almost like there is no separation between the ground floor and the second floor neighbor. We could hear clearly when the guest walked around in their room, flashed the toilet, taking shower, any kind of small noise all night long. If u decide to stay with them, remember to take sleeping pills at night.

Business and PleasurePosted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Everything above, and the wonderful breakfasts. Really enjoyed talking with Robert and Susan all the times we have been there.
Cons: Small TVs in the rooms for watching the news at night. Better heating systems (I know, too expensive!)
Location: We explored the areas by car, mostly. Took the "trolley" tour too! And walked around a lot.
Have stayed there 3 times now. We have explored the areas around Ashland and Medford, including Jacksonville and the other smaller towns, looking for a place to retire. We have found it! Paperwork in process, and hopefully we will live there by next summer.

Beautiful Inn with wonderful host.(Susan & Robert)Posted Oct 18, 2014
Location: Old historic town of Jacksonville has lots of events going on year around. There is also the Britt Festival which is very nice.
This Bed and Breakfast was more like visiting new found friends. They made us feel so welcome and the rooms were so inviting. It was immaculately clean and the host made all of the guests feel welcome. I would highly recommend to all of my family and friends to definitely stay here on their next visit to Southern Oregon.

First B&B experiencePosted Sep 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
From the moment we were met at the front door until we said goodbye, we felt so very welcome by the Magnolia owners. They were so friendly, helpful and courteous! We had a wonderful experience and can hardly wait to return. The home was beautifully appointed and so conveniently located. Just a wonderful experience!

Best B&B experience ever!Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Everything. I hated to leave, it was a top notch well run B&B and the overall experience was one I won't forget and I will certainly be back
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: You can walk to everything, great restaurants, stores and the farmers market is across the street on Mondays.
The B&B is truly a gem. The rooms are spotless, the beds to die for towels are brand new and luxurious. The balcony and garden were both great places to sit in the afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine. The proprietors Robert and Susan were super friendly and informative.

loved it! I travel extensively and by far this has been one of the best and reasonably priced B&B.

Perfect Place to Stay in JacksonvillePosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
I loved this beautiful little inn. From first glimpse until checkout, everything was perfect. The gardens were in full glory, the room was beautiful and included many extras that I didn't expect. The breakfast included fresh fruit, home baked (by Susan) bread or muffins, great coffee and much more. This will definitely be my "go to" place to stay whenever I am in the Rogue Valley.

Great ChoicePosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The owners went out of their way to help us with planning our day's itinerary. The hotel was very clean and nicely appointed
Cons: Not much
Location: visit the Applegate Wine Country. The Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, and of course the Britt Musical Festival in Jacksonville.
My wife and I just spent four fabulous days visiting Jacksonville, Ashland and the Applegate Valley. Our stay was highlighted by our accommodations at the Magnolia Inn, where our hosts, Robert and Susan Roos put together a great winery itinerary into the Applegate Valley, along with other fun things to do, during our stay. The morning fruit and pasty breakfast was a nice way to start each day. I highly recommend The Magnolia Inn if your plans call for a day (or more) in the Jacksonville area.

Fantastic inn-keepers!Posted Jul 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our stay was the best of our week-long trip. I have stayed in many B&Bs and this one rated at the top of our list! The hosts, Bob and Susan were helpful with suggestions for food and helped us route the rest of our trip so that we could enjoy waterfalls on our way to Crater Lake.
