Nice hotel parking needs help

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Hotel is nice. Better for business travel than vacation / family trip. Parking can be valet, but if parking on your own machine only pay that doesn't take cards even though machines say they do. Even with cash they hardly ever work right. If you plan on leaving by car then coming back you can easily total more than what the garage calls daily max. Room was very clean with great housekeeping staff. Double beds only if not in king room.

Nice Hotel that could be better.

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: In room Keurig machine. Convenience to Jacksonville Landing and the One Spark Festival.
Cons: Beds/pillows, plus the common areas need a little TLC.
Location: Close to Jacksonville Landing and downtown. Plenty to do within a short walk of the hotel.
At first glance, this is a beautiful hotel. Second and third glances tell another story. Beds and pillows were not that comfortable, there was peeling paint on the door of our room and guests were going up and down the elevator looking for a floor with a working ice machine. Access to the hotel is off what looks like an alley leading to a parking garage. Just about everything is extra.

Great Stay

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: k
Cons: k
Location: kl
We are Jax locals and wanted to grab a room to enjoy OneSpark for our anniversary weekend. The room was great and the staff was very polite. Bathroom needs updating and had very low water pressure, but these things happen. Could use better pool drink and/or food service than paying asinine service charges to order room service to the pool deck (but we get it, it's a a downtown business hotel, primarily.) Great stay would do it again.

The Texas Best Man Visit

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: The location was right on the Jacksonville Landing 2 minutes walk from restaurants and sightseeing.
Cons: Room service ran out of towels, but this was solved within an hour.
Location: The Jacksonville Landing is across the street where you can find restaurants and sightseeing.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Omni Hotel. The staff was very attentive and the room was newly remodeled. I

Nice, Easy to find

Posted Apr 10, 2015
First time in an Omni property and I was very happy. Not from from the freeway and easy to find. The hotel staff were great...from the valet parking/front door staff through to the front desk to the servers in the dining area. Room was a good size with a nice view. Dining in the hotel was a great experience and the food was delicious. Bar staff were friendly and attentive but not overly so. Definitely a place I'll re-visit when in the area.

The staff was very willing to meet all our needs. The beach boys were actually staying there while we were! Insanely nice and clean as well.

Middle of downtown.

Stayed in recently remodeled room on 15th floor. Clean, quiet, and nice. Room service food quality was at par with a 3 star hotel so I wouldnt recommend ordering it. But the lobby restaurant was adequate. Staff friendly and helpful.

Not worth the money

Posted Apr 6, 2015
This hotel is aging and it shows. The halls are very noisy. The hotel charges for things included at other hotels in the area: Internet and parking. The restaurant is average at best. The pool is very nice, though. For the money, Hyatt is a much better choice. I wouldn't stay here again.
