“A Real Hidden Gem”

We saw the rave reviews and thought we would check it out. The hotel lived up to its reviews. A wonderful boutique hotel and spa. The restaurant was fantastic! The service was great! The hotel is tastefully decorated. The ocean view is great. Loved the bar. This is a real treat and we highly recommend it.

“Loved this hotel.”

Wish I'd had more time to visit the gorgeous spa. I love being able to park my car and just walk around an area with so many great restaurants and bars and live music is definitely a plus. Dinner was so yummy and the view out over the sand dunes and ocean was definitely a plus. Good price for the return. And we could see the ocean from our room at a reasonable rate. I've told others at my meeting up in the city the next day to book it soon. I certainly will return for a longer stay hopefully.

Area recommendations

The neighborhood around the hotel. You can walk it and have lots of choices on boutique shopping as well as food and drinks and live music which is always a plus in my book. If you are going to be in Jacksonville and the beaches for an extended stay, I would also recommend the San Marco area of Jacksonville and for a day trip get the car out and drive to St. Augustine. Also, you could drive north to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach for a great day trip. So many places, so little time. There are many great neighborhoods around Jacksonville and the beaches. “Best on Atlantic Beach”

I love this place. The service is outstanding. The beach is great. The spa is wonderful. All they need is orange marmalaide in the kitchen and beer service to the beach & it would be perfect!

“One Ocean Jacksonville”

Great location. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Enjoyed some of the spa services. Room is beautiful. We have stayed here twice in the past two years. Will stay again in the future. Highly recommended.

“One Ocean is number 1”

We had stayed at this hotel several years ago before it under went its rennovation. Wow were we suprised. This was an excellent spot to stay and the reasonable price allowed us to splurge on extras. I would recommend One Ocean to anyone.

Area recommendations

The Atlantic Beach/Neptune Beach area surrounding the hotel is great. Lots of places to shop and eat. Very nice to be able to park and walk around.

“Loved Jacksonville and area.... not this hotel”

We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Expedia had listed a rating of 4 stars and quite honestly it is barely a 2. They advertise "docent" service but all that means is you have to tip for EVERYTHING... ice, getting your car ($15 per day parking fee on top of $25 resort fee), getting an extra towel, etc.The location is great but I would not recommend this property.

“Best hotel I've stayed at”

The hotel was a great value. Every staff member was pleasurable. The resort fee which included unlimited tea,coffee, snacks, and drinks was unbeatable. The view from the room was great, as well as the beach itself. The pool area was pleasant with the cushioned lounge chairs and delicious poolside menu. The restaurants in the surrounding area were delicious too, especially Ragtime. I highly suggest staying at this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The surrounding area had plenty of restaurants and shopping. The beach was clean and only seconds away.

“Wow!!!”

Very nice hotel. My family and I stayed here for the Donna 26.2 Mother's Day Breast Cancer 5K. The race check in and start is the the parking lot of the hotel. Hotel staff was great. The mini bar (excluding adult beverages) was inclusive. Great stay, will stay again next year.
