Nice hotel with good location

I have never stayed at the Radisson before in Jacksonville but I used to live in the city for 7 years. Considering I have lived in various areas around town, the location is a perfect outlet to downtown, Town Center, and getting on the freeway to head towards Orange Park. There were issues with Wifi; I wouldn't mention it but my cell service was very poor. Otherwise it was a nice stay for the price.

A place to hag your hat

Pros: It was available on the dates needed
Cons: The hotel is badly in need of a renovation .....
Location: Location is fine....
Very nice people working at this location . The drain in the bath tub constantly backed up in the double bed room we were forced to accept; we booked 4 weeks in advance a king ..was GTYED . wifi did not work properly TV did not work properly On and On and On Requested a Wake up call that DID not come at all. .

Needs A Lot of Work

The hotel was in a good area. Easy to get around Southside and Downtown. The first room we were given was close to an electrical closet that made so much noise that we immediately changed rooms knowing we would get little sleep. The second room looked over the garbage and air conditioning units that also made noise, but was much better than the first. We were looking forward to the sleep number beds but they didn't work. The paint was peeling off the doors and the paint was chipped on the walls. The bathtub had rust on it and the drain. All of the furniture including the counter in the bathroom was in a sad state of disrepair. The drawers didn't close properly and the finish was badly marred on all pieces. The TV didn't work well either. I have never stayed in a Radisson Hotel before, and I never will again.

Friendly staff! Will visit this location again. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. I look forward to staying with Raddison again soon.

This was the first hotel where no continental breakfast was offered. Also, when I requested a receipt, I was told it would appear only on my computer. I did not have a computer on my person.

Ok I guess

Hotel was ok but we could hear every word the neighbors said thru the bathroom vent. Had to close the bathroom door to sleep.

Poor customer loyalty

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis mostly because I don't want to haggle over pricing, but this visit it was as if they had never seen me before and wanted $40 more than my usual rate. I stayed in the Holiday Inn across the street for my normal rate and gained points in their reward program

Nice place for a short stay...

It was in an ok spot. Kinda far for some parts of town we wanted to be on, but nevertheless, it was great. The only thing I didn't like, housekeeping did not change our linen, replenish toilet tissue or give clean towels until I called down to front desk to let them know. And we had to change the linen ourselves once we got the clean sheets from someone who came to the room. Someone had put a do not disturb sign in the door,I knew it wasn't myself or my friend. Housekeeping had to have put it there so they didn't have to clean the room. It wasn't there before we left the room for that day.

Decent for a quick stay

When you book this hotel through a third party service such as Expedia they automatically put you in a room with a king bed when it says a king or two doubles. You can request the doubles but even when you call to confirm they tell you that when you book through a different service it is basically first come first serve as far as bed availability. My reservation was non refundable so it didn't matter at that point. When we arrived it was close to 7pm. Check in was quick and easy. Travis at the front desk was very polite and informative. Of course we were put in a king room but they didn't tell us that the couch in our room pulled out. This was helpful for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room itself was clean. There were a few very light almost unnoticeable stains on the sheets but they had been cleaned. We had a microwave and minifridge that was put to good use. The sleep number bed did not work as many other reviews mention. It seemed to be inflated just enough to be comfortable. Wifi was not very stable, constantly disconnected and reconnected on whim. If you need wifi for something important then I suggest calling them for a possible room with better connection or try elsewhere. We did not need it so it was not a hinderance. The maids come early. We were on the 5th floor and could hear them speaking loudly in our hall at around 8am. Put your Do Not Disturb tag up if you would like to sleep in. We did not try the breakfast as 12.99 per person for the buffet did not seem worth it.
