“Breakfast”
This is the Hotel That i have been in that do not have a continental Breakfast. No danish, donuts ect. Nothing but coffee. No i would not stay at The Red Roof Inn again until something is done about that. It was just the extra money i had to spend on going out for breakfast .
“Pretty decent place to stay.”
THE STAY WAS COMFORTABLE. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND MATCHED THE PICTURES ONLINE. I HAVE BEEN TO SOME HOTELS WHERE IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. NO MAJOR CONCERNS.
“will return”
The hotel was quite nice. The staff was friendly and they cleaned on a continueous basis. It smelled fresh. The room was perfect for what i needed and for the cost it was quite nice. I will return. It was pet friendly and I like that. The only problem was that the ice machine on the first floor didnt work or vending machine and you had to get iron from service desk kinda inconvenience
“Good hotel-- great price!!!”
All clean, friendly staff, very cheap--
“Good for the price”
Great for the price!
“Needs amenities”
stayed for 3 nites, did not have coffee maker in room, iron and board, no complimentary breakfast and no microwave, i would have been more satisfied if it had any of these items available.
“Shouldn't be open for business!”
Upon checking in, the lobby was destroyed. There was no flooring, no baseboards, the bathrooms were out of toilet paper and filthy. Thinking they must be remodeling or have some issue with the lobby area, we proceeded to check in since we'd been driving for 12 hours and were exhausted (and already paid for the rooms). The rooms smelled slightly mildewed but we assumed they hadn't been used in a while. Right before we went to sleep, and the first time we took off our shoes, we realized the carpeting was wet in most of the room. There was one towel in each room (we had 3). Asked for an extra pillow at the front desk and was advised they didn't have anymore, though most of the hotel was empty. We weren't even sure the guy at the front desk worked there as he was wearing a football jersey and didn't seem sure on how to check us in. Took a very long time after we stood there 15 minutes before being acknowledged. This place was a joke.
“Good if it weren't for construction”
The hotel itself was nice, the staff was pleasant and the surrounding area was and conveniently located. However, when I arrived, there were loud fans everywhere in the lobby and the carpet had been ripped up. They also showed me a warning that the water and power may intermittently be shut off. Thankfully, it was not and fortunately our room was far away enough down the hall that it was quiet. Had the construction not been happening, it would have been great. They are pet friendly too which is why we chose it.
“Mayo Clinic Hotel”
Red Roof in Jacksonville, FL S is very nice and convenient
“NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!!”
The check in was a little slow, but they were training a new employee, so I know there's a learning curve, not a problem. The first day I was there when I came back that night, my room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk, had to go down & get my towels. He said there were numerous complaints on the 3rd floor. The next night, same thing!! The beds were clean with very thin mattresses, no hair dryer, no iron or ironing boards in the rooms! Never will stay there again!!
