The only issues I had was the coffee machine had a weird chemical like reaction to the water in it . They phone also didn't work but that's fine , I have a back up phone . As far as business and needing a place for work I wouldn't recommend! But for some peace and time away from things , definitely a go to hotel 😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Definitely Consider Staying at The Magnuson
After an EXTREMELY RUDE encounter with two of the 3 night desk clerks at the Scottish Inn next door while trying to check in through our reservation, I went to the Magnuson and found the clerk VERY warm and happy to be of SERVICE. He provided information which I needed but did not voice which made my impression of this inexpensive hotel better. The room was not remarkable but neither was it dingy, grimy or sticky.

The manager working that day was very rude and unprofessional. I had to wait at the window for over ten minutes while he argued on the phone with someone. I just got in from Texas and only wanted to shower and rest. He wouldn’t let me check in early so I just left and found another place to stay even though I’d already paid for the room online and it was non refundable. I’ll never book this motel again.

The room was dirty with roaches. The place smelled of musk and mold, and turning on the A/C didnt help the situation. Stains on all levels of the sheets. And the bathroom was more than to be desired. Had to leave in the middle of the night.

Just Don’t Stay Here!
Hotel looks nothing like the photos. It is very run down and filthy. The bathroom sink was missing the facet knob. Room smelled of mildew and smoke even though this is a “non smoking” hotel. We should have left. We didn’t even shower there because the tub was so stained. The worst part is I left something in the room and of course no one found it.

The entire place is falling apart. Upon my arrival, there was no one in the front office and I had to go searching for an employee. same thing when I checked out, couldn't find an employee. My room was incredibly nasty. Asked for a non-smoking room, got a room that was clearly used to smoke everything. Multiple holes in the wall. All fixtures - light fixtures, faucets, door knobs, you name it- they were all loose. The door to my room had a hole in the bottom of it so it didn't even seal properly. The best part about my stay was that I was woken up by a prostitute at 3 in the morning. This place is horrendous. Do not-and I mean under any circumstances- do not stay here.

Room was dirty as soon as we arrived. Floor was dirty and toilet was overflowing. Notified staff and they said they would fix it after I checked out. There were holes in the walls. Tub was dirty. We called for housekeeping but they never showed up. Pool was closed the whole time we stayed there. I got this hotel to meet friends coming to visit me since I’m in the military but very disappointed. I ended up getting another hotel room somewhere else so I could stay there since it was horrible. I would have asked for a refund since I only slept there one of the 2 nights I booked it. Would discourage anyone booking a room to stay away. Very disappointed.

I am beyonddddd pissed and disgusted! Blood stains under the sheets on the bed bug cover. Absolutely filthy. We got a non smoking room and there were spiderwebs all over the room. The tub,sink and bathroom including the tub was absolutely DISGUSTING. If it was not so hot out i would have slept in my car. Homeless hanging out all over the property. Everything was SO dirty! It was a mistake that we booked that hotel. Yes the hotel price was cheap but I never thought that they never maintain the hotel to keep it comfortable atleast to sleep. Bed bugs, molds, chip off paints, broken doors. Stolen coffee maker. Smells weed all the time. Noisy next door. It's what will be waiting for you. I can't blame the hotel if the guests that stayed before really took time to ruin the hotel. But please do something to make it liveable again.

Plumbing Problems/ Drugs and Prostitution/ People Arguing/ Woman was put out because she had Her baby running in the streets and parking lot, and close to the high way. Few of the staffs are liers, one of staff he be sleep all night in the lobby, You have to bang on the window to wake him up to checking in, sleeping on the job is a no no some nights it feel creepy because of certain People they let stay at the hotel they be out and about lurking, trying trick and sale drugs a cross the street is a another hotel, same thing goes on there, they run good costumers away,police be patroling the area it don't matter cause everything I say goes on there, but its okay I found a real nice hotel to start coming to, I mean it's nice and much better. I do not want to go back to magnuson in anymore.

The guy at the front desk was professional however the room are poorly maintained. Also I couldn’t sleep because the people next to my room were really loud and annoying. I had to call front desk to report it which the front desk person went there and talk to them. But as soon as he left they started it again! I had to put my earphones in and listen to rain sounds so I could get some sleep. Overall this place have potential, just need better maintenance. Also the room had a weird smell.

Someone who stayed prior to me was smoking something strange. The room reeked. The clerk on checkout needs a class on people skills.

AC unit cord had a short in it had to move it around to get it working. Bathroom was filthy with a very bad stained mat inside tub multiple stains on comforter On website, states continental breakfast, not true When checking out in the morning there was nobody in office at all

An ok place
Just an ok, cheap place to be able to sleep in a bed at night while on vacation. Nothing special. Not the cleanest place, but not the worst either. Staff did do a good job at keeping outside garbage cans cleaned out, even if full at night, by morning they would be empty.

Absolutely disgusting. Drug dealers everywhere. Tolbert didn’t work. Shower didn’t drain. Smelled like smoke and mold

Disappointed stay
This building used to be the super 8 motel. It was not anything like what I'm used to staying in. I was very disappointed and wanted to check out as soon as i got into the room.
