**Please note: Beginning November 2011 through spring 2013 the Omni Amelia Island Plantation hotel and conference center will be undergoing a major renovation project. During that time the hotel pool and beach club will be closed. All villa pools and a myriad of recreational activities, beach and dining venues will be open for villa guests and owners.**

On 1,350 acres, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, Amelia Island Plantation is home to three championship golf courses: Oak Marsh, Ocean Links, and Long Point. Surrounded by live oaks, the 23-court Racquet Park offers lessons and clinics by Cliff Drysdale Tennis (surcharge). In addition to 3.5 miles of beach, each villa community has it's own pool. The Spa at Amelia Island Plantation is a full service spa and salon also offering yoga classes, signature services and treatments. Guests have complimentary use of a health club with separate women's and men's locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms. The Nature Center, staffed by naturalists, offers interpretive presentations and guided programs for adults and children (surcharges). Heron's Cove Adventure Golf, Camp Amelia and Gamers, the teen lounge will be available (spring 2013) Restaurants include gourmet and casual options, and many feature children's menus.

The Verandah - Casual dining, overlooking the Racquet Park. Fresh seafood, steaks, pasta paella, and other fare. Full bar and wine list. Reservations suggested. Marsh View Bar & Grill - Located off the Golf Pro Shop with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the ninth hole of Oak Marsh offers breakfast, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Marché Burette - Gourmet deli, grocery, and wine shop. Indoor and outdoor seating. Take-out items. Continental breakfast, brick oven pizzas, salads, sandwiches, desserts, coffee drinks, and wines by the glass. Seaglass lounge - At the hotel offers a bar menu, martinis, wines by the glass, cognacs, and cigars. Falcon's Nest - 7,000-square-foot family friendly restaurant decorated with aviation memorabilia. Perfect for watching the game or playing a few rounds of pool. Sunrise Café - In the Hotel. Buffet and à la carte breakfasts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Oceanside grill - poolside flip flop friendly bar and restaurant by day, fine dining by night.

3 golf courses - 2 resort courses composed of the Oak Marsh and Ocean Links designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed, offer 36 holes of championship golf. Tom Fabio-designed the private member course Long Point providing 18 holes available to resort guests with 24-hour advance notice. Clubhouse, pro shop, club rentals, and Ed Bowe golf school are available on the property. Surrounded by live oaks, renowned Racquet Park offers 23 courts, Cliff Drysdale tennis school, pro shop, racquet rentals, adult clinics, round robins, and junior clinics on request (surcharges for all). Staffed by naturalists, the Nature Center features interpretive displays and a range of naturalist-led activities including bird watching, Segway safaris, walking, biking, and kayaking guided tours (surcharges). Guests can take Segway tours, rent bikes, island hoppers or hike seven miles of nature trails. Fresh- and saltwater fishing excursions on and off property, fishing pole rentals, sailing, sightseeing tours, and day cruises (surcharges) can be arranged through the recreation department. Anglers can also try their luck at the resort's Red Maple Lake and the many brackish lagoons (surcharges). Guests have complimentary use of a well-equipped health club. Separate women's and men's locker rooms provide saunas, steam rooms, spa tubs, showers, and towels. Yoga is offered in the Spa. Camp Amelia provides entertainment for ages 4–12, and programs for older children are available (surcharges). Gamers provides entertainment for teens and Heron's Cove Adventure Golf is a new family friendly miniature golf course opening in January 2013. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply. Please advise the hotel and portions of the resort are currently under renovation.

The Spa and Salon at Amelia Island Plantation offers an array of treatments and beauty services using organic products, from massages and facials to wraps and hydrotherapy. Guests can purchase a variety of earth-friendly skin and body care products at the spa's retail boutique.
