“Pleasant Surprise”

This hotel was a pleasant surprise...the property is perfectly maintained, including the crystal clear pool...the included breakfast was delicious, although repetitious. The star is the restaurant...the food and service were excellant. My only criticizms are that there is no elevator and that the hot water was sporatic

The hotel is excellent. Amenities were excellent for the 5 day trip I had.

“Hotel is for children because of the pools”

Stayed 5 nights , only I day received a complete set of towels. Room was old , hotel is old , needs maintenance . Unable to make local calls from the room , needed to use cell phone at reception. Reception did a poor job of getting messages to us. Reception was unable to book a taxi for us. Good location across from the beach . Breakfast was boring , same limited breakfast every morning.

“Balcon del Mar”

Excellent location and staff are verry friendly and helpful.But WiFi coverage was very poor and I had to stay close to the window. I had the apartment on the 5th floor which was pretty and the view was awesome but water preassure run very low. Other than that I did enjoy my staying.

“This place is very old..”

The hotel is very old and water pressure was very low and there was no hot water... I would look for another hotel if you are willing to stay in jaco.. Staff are great and friendly and security is very good but that's about it.

“Beach hotel with serious problems with parking”

The hotel was right on the beach a few blocks from the main tsreet with all the restaurants and bars. The condittion of the hotel room was just Ok nothing fancy and needed reparation. It had a nice pool with a bar. Breakfast was good. Parking was provided, but they had really serious problems with parking their clients cars. The service was friendly. For the location we can recommend it.
