OK All Inclusive

Hotel staff were not overly friendly and at no time went out of the way to make the vacationers feel like they were happy to have them there. We have stayed at many all inclusives and have never had a negative experiece. This was our first. Food was the same almost every day. Special requests were not able to be accomodated at the meal times. All in all not a great experience. The bartenders were friendly. Hotel beds were like rocks. The scenery was beautiful and the grounds were kept up. No chairs or umbrellas were located on the beach.

Not what we expected.

Pros: What we liked most was that the room seemed clean & the food was decent.
Cons: They should add an elevator to the hotel & update room decor as well as hotel itself.
Location: This location is very close to a bunch of souvenir shops & little restaurants.
When we arrived the first thing we noticed was a group of angry guest arguing with the hotel staff because the Wi-Fi wasn't working the staff didn't seem to care much either . My girlfriend found a way to make it work on her phone so at one point there was multiple guest & staff asking her for help the staff didn't even thank her either . The room was fine but a bit outdated, food was pleasing although we missed out on the nice deck restaurant for lunch because the staff never mentioned we could eat there. The staff overall was fine although most seemed miserable at their job. I don't think I would stay here again.

Friendly staff, great location

Most of the reviews I read about this hotel was pretty accurate. Its in a very good location, a lot of bars and shopping to do and right next to the beach. The food was pretty good and drinks as well. Most of the staff were very helpful and the premises were always clean. My only complaint was the size of the rooms and beds. They were very small and beds were hard. Also the wifi didnt work from time to time. Other than that Great place to stay!

Nice place to stay

We had a very nice time at this hotel. There really isn't much to complain about. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, plenty of hot water and pressure (which is sometimes an issue in hotels). The food was great (especially the fish). The staff are exceptional, very helpful and very friendly, everyone speaks enough English that it was never an issue. It's true what others say about the music being loud (a room away from the pool helps)Just a short walk from the hotel there's lots of touristy shopping. The beach is nice, not great for swimming but it's great for body surfing. If you're a golfer, La Iguana is a beautiful course, it's about 10-15 minutes from the hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great Hotel Close to beach

Pros: Location All inclusive
Cons: More alcohol in the drinks.
Location: Surfing, shopping in Jaco, zipline, Manuel Atonio State park.
Great stay as always. This was our second visit and look foward to returning next year.

on arriving at two pm could not get food or a drin

on arriving at 2pm coulf not get food or a drink. was told we had to wait till 3pm. at which time lunch was over. not nice to hear after traveling 9hrs. food was really bad. we went out for breakfast and dinner. lunch was ok

We are also sorry that you found that our food was not up to your expectations, we are going to share your comments with our Food and Beverages Staff so that they can take them into account and immediately start working on improving because we really do take our guests satisfaction very seriously and our reason of being is to comply with all of our guests requests. Hotel is in a great location, that is about all

Location: Location was good if you want to be right in down town Jaco and on the beach.
This hotel was very disappointing. The staff was very nice and the grounds overall were fine but it had to be the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in my life. It was bare bones- not even any soap in the bathroom. The in room safe did not work, it looked like a dorm room, noisy. The food is exactly what you would expect for an all inclusive- so no surprises there- but not good (bland not a lot of healthy choices). I would never stay here again.

We are very sorry to hear that the room you stayed in was not up to your satisfaction but as you could see, the hotel is actualy undergoing a complete renovation and remodelation of its entire infrastructure. Since it can be done all at the same time, they are doing it by parts, first one building, then the next and when everything is done , we can assure you that the rooms are going to be very updated and with very modern appliances and furnishings for our guests´ convenience. Since we are a certified eco friendly hotel, we do everything we can to not disrupt or harm our natural resources, that is why we have soap dispensers in the showers of the bathrooms , these dispensers also contain biodegradable shampoo. That way, the guests only use what they need (the soap is biodegradable) so there is not any wasting of items and implements for the benefice of nature and its resources.
