“Perfect location and great hotel”

Hotel Mar de Luz is just off the main street in the center of town, we asked if we could change rooms so we could have a room with a balcony over the pool, our needs we meet immediately, the room was spacious, air con, fridge and comfortable bed, the hotel has 2 large pools and 1 small childrens pool, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast included was very nice We meet a family from Costa Rica with 3 children, they had a room with a full kitchen which was handy for them as they were able to cook meals I would recommend this hotel to people who like a hotel with out the party scene

“Excellent hotel with the best service”

I have visited Hotel Mar de Luz located in the center of Jaco surprised me by the friendliness of the staff. The service was fantastic and they help me with whatever question I had. The beautiful clean pool surrounded by beautiful local plants and flowers a gorgeous place to be. I had a room with natural stones a very quiet location. I could receive free Internet in front of my room but they also have next to the reception a place to internet for free. This hotel have a family ambiance which I really appreciated. I will visit again to enjoy the hotel and the good surf on the beach. A big thank you to the staff of Hotel Mar de Luz I hope to see you soon.

Would definitely go back again only next time will stay in a room that borders the pool. This hotel is within walking distance to everything.

Overall price was fair, but not the best place in town. Location is close to restaurants and Hotel provides internet service. Great breakfast included with stay. No spectacular view just vacant lots. I would recommend this place on a budget. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Big swimming pools, but beside it - pretty basic and standard. It's ok, but too expensive

“Worst bathroom ever seen...”

The room was OK because it had a kitchen aid. The bathroom was the ugliest I have ever seen. I did not take a bath in three days. The swimming pool is OK with beautiful nature. The value of the stay is not worth it.
