Hotel Poseidon

this hotel is great for the money you will spend. This was my first time in Jaco and did not know what to expect. was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. If your used to staying at low to mid grade hotels this place will do just fine. restaurant in the hotel was also good and affordable.

hotel staff helpful super nice food great will cook food if you want a certain way room clean but old and shower did not work hot and cold like a game your guess location if you like the beach super on your door step safe yes helpful yes food great yes room rate a 2 can bring locals back to hangout..this .for guys if you no what i mean.

I stayed at 9 hotels while in Costa Rica and this was one of my favorites. Clean, Good location, great staff, breakfast. The only problem was the dreaded sewer water smell at the pool. But I think this is a problem of Jaco not so much the hotel. Parking at a charge was very convenient and checking in and out was a breeze. Would stay here again.

Overall, close to restaurants and nightlife. The location was very close to the various shops and close to CoCal casino

The room we stayed in happened to be below the rooftop bar. I wish I had that knowledge when I booked it. It was very loud until very late. Pool area was in need of attention. The room was clean and adequate. I was given Internet codes upon check in. Was supposed to be active for time I stayed. It no longer worked after a few hours. Not a great place if you want to relax.

The location of the hotel in the bustle of downtown Jaco and convenience to the beach can't be beat! We enjoyed our stay and were quite comfortable. I believe though that the hotel was significantly overpriced.

I really liked this place. The staff is very nice, the restaurant makes good food, it's a very short (less than a block) walk to the beach, it's centrally located in Jaco, it was quiet and easy to sleep, good for families or single people. The only negatives were that the pool bar could have been fixed up to look nicer....it's not a 5 star type of place, but that's probably why the price is reasonable. I would highly recommend this place, I wouldn't think you could do better for the price.
