Great place to stayPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the beach
Location: on the beach
This hotel was right on the beach. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly. We were able to go to the town of Jaco easily from the resort. It is a great place to stay for any type of group.

Needs some pillowsPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Nice pool, close to the beach.
Cons: Add some pillows with depth. It would be nice if the waiters came by after the meal was served.
Over all the hotel is ok. The pillows are thin(like tissue paper, so bring your own. Restaurant service slow to non existent.

Great stay, for the most partPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Great location Nice staff. Right by the beach Breakfast offered(well most days) Parking Pools Bars Casino And tours offered onsight
Cons: Fix the phones in the room Get new TV And get an ICE machine, and even charge a $1 a bag if needed.
Location: Great location, near the beach and not to close to town. Tons of tours and things to do, but you need to drive to get there.
We got the best room in the place, closest to the beach, the bar, restaurant, and pool. The phone did not work, EVER, even after we asked no less then 6 different hotel employees and the OWNER, which was disappointing. The staff was really great. We saw no bugs or cockroaches at anytime. The room was nice, TV outdated, nice that there was breakfast every morning(except out last, and we never found out why). Casino was a little lame and no one really ever went in. We probably would not go back to Costa Rica again, but it was definitely not because of the hotel stay, as this was one of the best parts. Just needed a little bit of updating and FIX THE PHONES PLEASE.

Stayed to see the world cup games.Posted Jul 18, 2014
The pool bar was the perfect place to watch the games and enjoy some drinks. Everything you need is inside the hotel grounds.

Don't Stay Here!Posted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and bar staff was very accommodating.
Location: There is a beach in front of the onsite restaurant.
Booked this hotel through Expedia, had spent about the same amount per night an an all-inclusive near Coco and had a much better experience there for the money. When we arrived, the hotel did not have us registered. We had confirmation from Expedia and had paid in advance. The desk clerk was very accommodating but wanted to put us in a poolside room when I had booked an ocean side. room. After much conversation, he did put us in an ocean side room that did not have a view of the ocean, but did have a view of the pool and the bar. It did have a patio that had a concrete fence that was 10 feet high, so you could sit on the back patio, but all you see is brick wall. The bathroom had only a shower with plumbing that backed up immediately and overflowed into the room. This is not someplace that I will stay again for the $150 a night that we paid for the room. This is more a $40 per night hotel.

nice, but loud music in pool areaPosted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: Looks nice...big rooms...when the breakfast buffet was up - you had a great choice of Food, one day was a la carte where you could only pick one dish
Cons: a refrigerator in the room would be great! have one party-pool and one that is quiet....so people can choose whether they want loud music or not
Location: Taco Bar is a nice place and Tsunami has Sushi on Wednesdays and Fridays for half price
we stayed 3 nights on our round trip through Costa rica.. one day we walked around jaco, one day we drove to Manuel Antonio (which is great and shouldn't be missed, we saw more animals there than in monteverde!) and one day we wanted to spend at the pool in order to relax - unfortunately both pools had loud party-music and in the main pool area there were some old fat american guys with some local (apparently) prostitutes making sex gestures....and it took hours until they finally went upstairs... apart from that experience - nice Hotel! Oh what you should know is that Jaco doesn't have a White beach!

LOCATION IS GREAT!Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Location on the beach
Cons: The restaurant could be a bit bigger and open more hours.
Location: You can visit Manuel Antonio Park and enjoy the beach.
The location of this hotel is excellent. This is one of the few hotels in the area where you have acess to the beach which is a big plus. You do not have to pay for parking to go to the beach or have to drive to Manuel Antonio Park. You are within walking distance of the park and on the beach. We did not interact much with the staff, but they seemed nice. Our room seemed to have been remodeled and had a big bathroom. We had a microwave and a coffee maker in our room. We ate once at the very small cafe that is onsite and it was delicious. The cafe was only open limited hours. There is a small store within walking distance which we visited often. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
