“Nice place to stay at Jaipur”
Good service, location is ok, the staff is helpfull but cleanliness should improve
“I recommend this hotel”
It's a very authentic hotel, clean, with a nice terrace where you can enjoy traditional indian music and dances. The swimming pool is also clean - we did not use it but only beause there was too much to visit in Jaipur :) Breakfast is good, not very much meat (at all) but this is common in India. And as a plus - we stayed at six hotels during our trip in India and this was the only one that provided free acces to internet!
“Perfect for Families”
My wife and I, along with 3 young children stayed here for 1 night in December 2010. After traveling all day, this place was just what the doctor ordered. The restaurant was very good and the room was extremely comfortable (we especially enjoyed the strong hot shower!). They provide a complimentary continental breakfast buffet every morning that is excellent. For the money, this place can't be beat. Highly recommended!
“Great value in Jaipur”
The hotel is definitely good value for the money and I highly recommend it. If you are picky like me, take your own pillow along for a better night sleep. Only wish I had was they provide an in-room tea/coffee maker with supplied. You can still opt for room service, which was prompt.
“Impressive, Spotless,a real treat.”
The Hotel was almost perfect. Room was excellent, spotless. The bathroom was great, hot shower and very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. Great location, nice and quiet at night. Only one negative, the front desk staff would rather talk on their mobile or to each other........they were third rate and the hotel was first rate!!!! Would recommend this hotel as agreat break from the outside world.
“Convenient and comfortable”
The hotel was quiet, well-cared for, and with a good roof-top buffet. The only problem was that the hotel did not provide confirmation in advance, though I phoned from Delhi and confirmed prior to traveling to Jaipur.
“very impressive service and building”
The hotel was excellent and the staff and services were very good. Evening entertainment was a good surprise bonus. Location is the only problem as the there not much near the hotel. However, I will stay there again if I am in Jaipur.
“Umaid Mahal Hotel, Jaipur”
This is a great little hotel that deserves more than it's 3 star rating by far. It was better than many 4 star hotels we stayed in. Beautiful decor, excellent, friendly service and good food. Not located near anything of interest but close enough to all the attractions by taxi.
