very very very disappointed. from Not friendly staff,and we went in to the room and shocked , but i tried to take shower, comes out water with brown colour and can not stop it , the handle was broken too, the wall paint was off, not further thinking, My husband and me , walked out from the hotel and prefer to pay more to other hotel.

Dirty water. No non-smoking room from what I was told at the reception. Pillow smells and bed sheets not properly washed. Sink in the room didn’t work.

basic and poorly maintain
-drops of water was leaking from the ceiling, yet this is not coming from the aircon. So, do not know what is the source of the drip. -baby cockroach in room -cable tv had poor reception -room was generally depressing and not designed for 'warmth' or comfort for a similar price per night, you are better off staying at nearby hotels in the same area with better comfort and more facilities. I had stayed at hotels with cheaper rates that did better than Amaris Bandara.

Great Airport Transfers, But Otherwise Basic
A layover hotel. Sure, there are nicer rooms and better amenities at probably better prices but Amari offers the BEST airport transfer services with a shuttle every 30 min beginning at 3am to midnight. I didn't have a phone and they sent someone with a sign so that I'd know who was my driver for airport pickup. Hotel shower was not great; tiny and lukewarm water. Restaurant partner is typical Indonesian food, so if you don't like it, you won't be happy. Overall satisfied for 1 night but it was a tad pricey for quality. Service was good when requested help for xyz.

OK, but nothing memorable about room
the staff at the hotel were very pleasent to deal with and helpful. I thought for the price there would be a bit more decor in the room. Functional but nothing more. I was not able to use the free airport suttle as my plane was 3 hours late and in the middle of the night. Free breakfast was below average and although it looked like there was cooking available, nothing was offered.

The hotel is very well located from the CGK airport, which is good for whom who need a quick stop before the flight or whom who does not want to risk being late due to Jakarta's crazy traffic. On the other hand, nothing much within walk distance from the hotel, thus we need to go to the airport to get a decent choice of food.

Great for transfer
This hotel was great for transfer. The room was big and comfortable. The only down side is that there isn't much around the hotel. The holt begins breakfast at 2am for travelers who have early flights. The breakfast was a variety of local foods that were very familiar to Western palates. The hotel offers are free shuttle to the airport . The shuttle was ti key and comfortable. Jakarta is notorious for its traffic so plan accordingly.

For one night only...
We stayed here between two flights so we were only there for one night on our way to Bali and one night on our way home. It's close to the airport and cheap which is why we stayed here. It is clean but is shabby. This is not a place you want to stay at, as a destination but is good for a shower and a quick nap between flights. There is nothing around, only one, sketchy looking food option. They do have a free shuttle but you need to check in with them to confirm they will pick you up. We set one up and no one came so we had to have the airport staff call for us. They had to call six times before anyone at the hotel answered, but they did come get us 15 minutes later. It's good for what it is and not bad for Indonesian standards.

Decent place to crash
Spent one night here before flying out again in the morning- it was just fine. All staff were friendly and the rooms did the job. It is a $15 cab ride from the airport which wasn't bad, though getting to the hotel takes much longer than leaving the hotel to go to the airport, due to the roads. Wouldn't make this a vacation destination... But for the price and convenience, it's great.

Shuttle service not reliable
The only reason to stay in this overpriced place is the airport shuttle. If you don't want to be stuck at the airport waiting for their shuttle bus for up to one hour, avoid this hotel. The hotel shuttle just wasn't there. Numerous calls to the hotel, but the phone was not picked up. The staff simply doesn't care. This happen not only once, but twice. No more.

Gets the Job Done
I stayed here 2 nights. For the price, it did the job. I liked the convenient airport shuttle and friendly cleaning crew. I did not like how there was only one restaurant next to it that sold Padang Indonesian food. There are no other places to eat around. Breakfast served at the restaurant was poor. Also, I didn't like the room setup with the sink in the living area with the toilet and shower in the bathroom. Walls are thin and the rooms are close together.

This hotel is good only if you are transfering at Jakarta airport and need place to stay overnight. Hotel is prompt in pick up and drop off. Rooms are not comfortable, AC is old style, bed is OK. Breakfast is terrible. Despite bad review I will recommend for overnight stay for transferring passenger as airport drop off and pick up is important.

Met on arrival at terminal 2 as requested. Taken to hotel for a prompt check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean and comfy with a modern facelift. Check out was simple and given a breakfast box which was more than expected given our 4 am departure and shuttle transfer to terminal 3. Overall very happy with this stay.

Decent Hotel for A Quick Stay
I stayed in the hotel during my overnight transit coming home from Jakarta to Los Angeles. The hotel is quite clean with basic amenities in the room. The staff were friendly and the service provided were satisfying until I placed my order with the room service. I was informed to wait for 6-7 minutes for my order. After 45 minutes went by without any food in sight, I called to ask for my order. The lady who answered my phone just asked me to wait for more and didn't offer any explanation when asked why. Unsatisfied with the reply, I called again for the third time and was told that it was on its way. Less than 5 minutes later, my order arrived. The person who delivered the food stated that they were running out of gas, which delayed the kitchen prep and cooking. I wished the room service informed me earlier about this, so that I wouldn't have to be upset waiting for my order for almost an hour.

No frills budget hotel near the airport with free shuttle. The walls were PAPER thin....and not only do you get road noise, but also hallway noise, and noise from the adjourning rooms - all through the night and morning. Other than that - it is what it is. Breakfast was free, and ok. Internet worked.

Good for a quick stop-over between flights.
The hotel is very convenient for the airport and is suitable for a short stay between flights. It is a little run-down but the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is good value for money, considering it is in Jakarta, and the room charge even included breakfast which was served at a restaurant next door. A buffet with basic hot food but ok for a quick snack before starting your journey.

It was close to the airport, and therefore I picked this place. Free shuttle service to airport. The rooms were ok and so was the service. The breakfast wasn't' inviting, so we skipped it and had it in the airport instead.

I WASVERY HAPPY TO STAY AT AMARIS. STAFF WERE GREAT BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE . SHUTTLE BUS GREAT . IT WAS AFFORDABLE AND COMFORTABLE. THERE IS NOTHING I COULD FAULT. Excellent value and excellent location with a very convenient shuttle service to the airport. I will plan to stay here again if I need to be near the airport. I was afraid of noise because of the location but I was not disturbed by noise. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

You get what you pay for and this is a clean cheap one night stay which is close to the Airport. I wouldn't recommend anything more than one night but that's me. It suits a purpose and I would stay there again given similar circumstances as I found myself in this stay. They do have free wifi so you can catch up on emails/other contacts.
