The TV in the room given to us was not working, the receptionist, Sella, graciously helped us move to another room which is more brighter and spacious. She has been very professional, also the manager (he) was very nice.

good hotel and local is good.
Budget Hotel, and Clean hotel, 10 min drive to Jakarta International Expo depending on traffic., Blue Bird cars stand at the hotel., you can ride immediately whenever you step out from hotel reception., Vegetarians will face problem in the restaurant as less no. of items as per veg ingredients are concerned. We will book this hotel as and when we are in Jakarta.

1. Hotel staff find difficult in communicating in English Language 2. Breakfast and lunch menu items are very limited 3. At 10 O'clock morning room service announce sandwich is not available, all sold out-terrible 4. while booking online it said coffee kettle and free in-room coffee-sugar will be supplied. But in reality hotel charged rp 10,000 for coffee package 5. In-room ironing facility was not available. 6. Room service for food supply closes at 12 night

The favehotel Pasar Baru is an excellent value for the money. The hotel is fairly new, the rooms are in very good condition, well maintained, and clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The location is very close to Pasar Baru, so it's a very interesting area.

Pleasant Stay
I have stay at this hotel from 25-30th Aug (5 Days). The room was quite spacious but the housekeeping did not change our bed sheet daily. After I inform them then they will change it. The downturn is that there's a long staircase to the lobby. Quite difficult to go up with luggage and a baby stroller. If only they could do a ramp on the side of the staircase. Hotel is near to Pasar Baru (10 mins walk) and you could find cheap stuffs over here. Beside that, there's no other entertainment or Mall which is nearby. Overall, I did have a pleasant stay over here. The receptionist and the security guard are helpful friendly too.

Not worth staying here.
The room and hotel were good. The staff was nice. The hotel is out of the way and difficult to find, even for taxi drivers. I was kept up all night by a couple having loud sex next door, on two consecutive nights. The last night there was banging on the wall all night and noise in the corridor. I hardly had any sleep for three nights. I would avoid this place.

clean hotel near Pasar Baru
I had been stayed at FaveHotel in elsewhere, first time stay at this hotel at Pasar Baru. It was clean and comfort. Hotel is near Pasar Baru, which is a walking market with shops and malls. night market have interesting local food delicious to eat.

They could do better
We stayed for 3 nights from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning. We were given a room next to the service (housekeeping) room facing the back and we asked for a change to room facing the front. We didn't mind if even we were given our choice room on the second night. We were not given our choice room and the reception didn't even care to call to express regrets for the unavailability. The room we stayed was noisy, dirty with stains which could be removed if properly cleaned. But the kiosk next to the hotel was an advantage. Breakfast was okay but very basic. There are other better Favehotel in the city.

central hotel and it's disappointing.
They block uber on the wifi forcing visitors to basically use their over-priced taxi services unless you've managed to score your own SIM card. Taxi service to airport is 300,000 Rp which actually costs 80,000 Rp with Uber. Staff are not mindful of being quiet when accessing closets and other facilities near the guest rooms. I got woken up by staff very early in the morning from slamming doors etc. I arrived late and was given a smoking room. I asked to transfer due the bad odor and was given yet another smoking room (what was the point?). The next day they helped me move, which was nice, but I was never offered any compensation of any sort. Future customers should also be aware that this is well within the range of a mosque and as such the prayer can be heard as early as 4:30 am. So between the early prayer and the noisy morning staff (5-6 am) good sleep was sparse.

Cheap but very clean and comfortable
Big enough and clean room with good rate. Very quiet and comfortable, too. Hotel staffs are very friendly. There are always a few Bluebird group taxi waiting in front of the hotel. Walk distance from Pasar Baru.

Very near Pasar Baru and cosmetic wholesale centre
Pasar Baru js just a few minutes walk from this hotel. One can also find wholesale store for cosmetics and hair salon at the mall near Pasar Baru. Although it is a rather old building, there is also shops selling cameras, shoes, clothings, bags, gold shop and more. Fast food like Kfc and A&W is available at Pasar Baru. Incase you did not book the hotel with breakfast, you can find J.Co and Bread story across Pasar Baru, Metro Plaza. A convenient store is just downstairs of the hotel. You wouldn't want to stay here if you are into nightlife but taxis are available most of the time, just ask the friendly bellboy. Overall a good stay for a budget traveller.
