“Very nice hotel for the money with many shopping and restaurants nearby.”

I will use the Hotel Ciputra Jakarta whenever I return to Jakarta for business. It is a very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. The service is excellent. Unless you need to be in the downtown Jakarta area, this hotel is an great choice.

“Hotel Ciptura”

First of all, ensure that you already have money on hand for the visitors’ visa. It's a headache trying to find an ATM. Also, take note that there are airport departure fees (domestic and international), which you must pay at the airport when you leave the country or travel to another part of the country. Now, onto the hotel. The rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was interesting; it consisted of Asian and Western dishes. The lobby is spacious and nice. There’s free Wifi available in the lobby and the lounge bar on the 7th floor. On the 7th floor, there’s the spa, lounge bar, and pool. The spa has nice packages that are really inexpensive. Get a facial, it's worth it!!! The location of the hotel isn’t that great, it’s highly congested in Jakarta and motor bikes have taken over the roads. Expect travel time to be doubled during the day and evenings. The hotel is attached to Mall Ciptura, which has over 200 stores. I would recommend eating at restaurants at the mall rather than at the hotel. The mall is much cheaper, wider variety, and the quality better.

The hotel have great location easy to reach anywhere and next to big shoping mall. all The staff real nice and they have good breakfast and we wiil coming back next time visit to Jakarta.

well laid-out comfortable room, nice dining and leisure facilities, and prompt, polite service. I have to caution first time North American and European travellers to the region, who would be normally accustomed to drinking ordinary tapwater that this is not to be done in South-East Asia! You can go anywhere in the city cheaply and safely using the taxicabs (spelled taksi over there!) An over-all nice experience for me.

“Nice Hotel”

It's a nice Hotel 15mins to Airport. But of course due to traffic this time can go up to 2 hrs. Hotel is clean and modern. Rooms are fine, upper stairs have good city view. Some furnitures and TV's are old in the rooms but in General it's OK. There is a shopping mall next to it also, which you can have shopping. In general I satisfied with the Hotel.

“Don't expect perfection”

When we arrived at midnight on Saturday the bar was already closed. All the staff could suggest was to get a taxi outside, which as we only wanted a nightcap was too much hassle. There was significant noisy renovation going on from an early hour, and one day we could not use the water in the room for several hours as it was coming out dark brown. Nobody seemed particularly concerned. Being connected to the shopping mall is a great benefit as you have access to reasonably priced food and drink. Otherwise everything is a taxi ride away. Gym was well equipped, but pool is just for leisure swimming. Poolside grill has great chef ( day off on Tuesday ! ) and staff there very friendly and helpful. Will stay there next time in Jakarta

“Good place to stay”

Hotel is part of a mall if you want shopping or need anything. There are also eateries there if you do not want to stay in the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, but let down by the bathrooms and temperamental plumbing. Water can be cold or off sometimes. Location is good for getting around, taxis are plentiful and cheap. Not close enough to the centre to have the worst of the traffic. Favorite part of the hotel for me is the pool bar. You can get an excellent nasi goreng or udang cooked at the bar, with very friendly staff to chat to.

“Good value for money; don't expect perfection.”

This large hotel has the advantage of 1. being relatively near the airport (about one and half hours by car depending on traffic) and toll roads 2. being relatively cheap 3. having a large shopping mall joined on to it (lots of restaurants). The top management try hard to please. The hotel food is adequate but not as good or as cheap as in some of the restaurants in the mall. My room was large and reasonably comfortable. The hotel seems to be used mainly by businessmen who cannot afford the more luxurious hotels. This hotel is good value for money, but do not expect perfection.
