Impressive design. The room is spacious. The rooftop has a great view of the Jakarta skyline. I wish the receptionists and waiters would smile more.

Great room, bring earplugs.Posted Apr 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I can't say enough about the condition of the hotel and my room. It was superb! The staff were perfect. The surrounding neighborhood is just o.k. Safe enough, and some local pubs. Seven-eleven just a block away. If you sit outside to eat wear bug spray. I received some of the worst mosquito bites of my life (and I'm from Canada!). The true downside is the noise. It is simply the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I was on the eighth floor. The club/restaurant was boom, boom, boom at 4:00 a.m. and the very loud prayers from the nearby mosque started 15 minutes later. Bring earplugs!
Definitely one of the best money for value hotelsPosted Feb 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a new hotel, condition is very good, location is excellent, close to every variety of food, shopping, and business district. Unique style, room design and best value for money hotel in Jakarta. Perfect for just one night or long term stay.

Not bad for short stayPosted Dec 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
Comfortable bed but amenities are falling apart. Upgraded to a one bedroom unit but window blind fell of, suspect not the first time. Shower need a bit more attention. Cleanliness acceptable, not the best but ok. Walking distance to shopping centre/food.

Quiet and peaceful retreat at the heart of JakartaPosted Nov 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
I love the location since it is nearby attractions such as MONAS and Gambir Station. Food is easily available because restaurants and 7-ELEVEN are just down the road. That's another options from the Ocha & Bella Restaurant at the hotel. The room interior is kept in modern and minimal design which makes the room spacious and looks very chic. Best of it, my room has the view of MONAS and at night, MONAS is beautifully lit with colourful light. So, I slept facing the amazing view the entire night. The swimming pool and the lounge is definitely a great place to hang out with a magnificent view of some of Jakarta skyline. Plus, it is super breezy there. The hotel served a good breakfast spread with choices of Western and Indonesian food. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Morrissey and if I'm ever in Jakarta, I would definitely be back here again.

Excellent new hotel, the best location in JakartaPosted Jul 9, 2012
Excellent new hotel, the best possible location, will definitely come again on my frequent business visits to Jakarta. The only complain it would be the very loud noise coming from several mosques in the area, it's annoying, too loud.
