It was not well located for tourists as everything was a long cab ride away but the hotel was first rate and the security was excellent,

Fantastic value for money. The breakfast and dinner bar supplies an amazing variety of fresh foods. And the a la carte satisfies the steaks and similar european fare. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, elegant, large and clean. The air conditioning is virtually silent - great!

Fine in most respects, though the rooms are starting to show the wear & tear of use. A good breakfast and other meals were also enjoyable. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel a bit far from airport (as are most it seems).

“The Park Lane-Jakarta: Good Value”

A well located a good quality business or tourist hotel withh all facilities that you would expect from a good quality 4 star hotel. The room we had overlooked a graveyard....BUT they adjust their pricing to compensate for this and being eleven stories high didn't make this a problem.

“Satisfactory”

Very high level of service - staff could be more clear about amenities - There was a problem with the room, we were eventually given another room but I felt (1) the problem should have been noticed before check-in [leak in the ceiling] and (2) we should have been given a new room sooner.

The Park Lane is a good option for Jakarta having a good value package and reasonable standard. Meals are good and there is an excellent restaurant there also. There's entertainment on tap too. Location could be a bit of a bind for some as there is little immediately around the hotel. But with taxis easy to find and cheap enough its not a major problem.

Used premier option as this suits us very well, nice and quiet for business trips. Breakfast and service good. Good bar and restaurant with variety of food. Friendly staff.

“Average at best”

This hotel must have been nice about 5 to 10 years ago. A few coats of paint and carpet cleaning would go a long way towards restoring this hotel to their 4 star rating. The hotel also needs to catch up to technology. There is no wireless internet in the rooms and you have to pay for the wired internet. Wireless was offered in the lobby, but at double the price. The gym was good with free weights and cardio machines. Overall - nothing special here.

“Second Tier 4 star hotel in urgent needs of rooms renovation”

Hotel is probably 15 to 20 years old with no renovations. Style is therefore well over its prime. Guests rooms are freezing cold as air conditioning can not be controlled. The only good part of the hotel is the food quality of its Riva French Restaurant.
