Check in was not smooth, seemed to be some computer issues. Room was clean, but lacking a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast area was clean and stocked. Staff was very friendly when we checked out early due to weather.

Thank you Erica, for taking the time to fill out a survey about your recent stay with us. I am terribly sorry to hear about the computer issues that Hilton was having worldwide at the time you checked in. I am also sorry to hear that you did not locate the refrigerator that was next to the luggage bench in your hotel room. We have refrigerators in all of our guest rooms. However, per Hampton Brand Standards, the microwaves are only provided in the king studio suite rooms. We do have a microwave located in the suite shop that can be accessed at any time.

Disappointed the pool was closed and it was not mentioned at check in. No microwave in our room, but party we traveled with did have one. Room was 47° when we got there, had to turn on the heat and it took forever to warm up. Struggled to keep the room at 70° once it warmed up to that. Staff was helpful in providing additional items needed, breakfast was kept stocked. Adjustable shower head is nice, good water pressure.

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience staying with us. I will be speaking with the housekeeping department about the temp of your thermostat to ensure they are checking these as they are leaning. Unfortunately, the microwaves are only available in the king studio suite rooms per Hampton brand standards. I understand your frustration about the renovations, this is why you were notified at the time of booking, shortly after booking, and I see Expedia also sent you a message Feb. 16th at 3:25pm as a final reminder.

When I called to confirm my room they could not find my reservation I was told they had to go through every reservation because they could not look up with the itinerary # only by my name. Was not told that the pool and the hot tub were under renovations guess I should have asked. Walked in my room there was a peanut and hair on top of the heater. The room has no microwave or curtains. It did have a see through pull down shade that the lights from outside shined right through. The staff was very friendly considering the fact that they had to tell people with children that came for the gymnastics meet that there was no pool

I am sorry to hear that you didn't have good experience staying with us. I will be speaking with the housekeeping department to find out why your room was not thoroughly inspected. Unfortunately, when you book through third party, the booking ID # that you receive is for the third parties computer system, not Hilton's. Generally, we are able to find the reservations by date of arrival and last name on the booking. You were made aware of the hotel being under renovations. There is a note at the time of booking, a notice after booking ,and you received a message from Expedia Feb. 16th at 3:32pm as a final reminder of the renovations taking place at the hotel.

Only reason we stayed here was for the hot tub. No one told us it was out of service until we were in our suits at the entrance of the pool are to find renovations in progress. There were obviously intoxicated people loitering at the front door smoking and pacing. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee was either empty or cold.

I apologize for any confusion this has caused, there are also signs posted at the front desk during check in for guests to review. We have a daughter who is in a wheelchair. We had an accessible room which was very nice. The entry to the room was wide, and there was plenty of space between the beds and the other furniture. The bathroom had plenty of grab bars, however I don't understand why the toilet is always placed so close to the wall. sometimes you need access to both sides of the toilet. The biggest problem was the beds. They were very comfortable except they were so high I could hardly climb in. I have to lift my daughter up onto the bed, and the higher the bed is, the more difficult this becomes. Also, I don't see how a single individual could ever get from a wheelchair or even a walker by themselves. Please put lower beds in accessible rooms!

We are currently under full renovations, and the new ADA bed frames are definitely less than ideal. We are however, in the process of finding more accessible ADA frames that Hilton will allow.

Untimely and unhelpful.
I arrived after check-in time and was told my room would not be ready for another hour. I have a small child and informed the staff of this. I was able to get into a room, but still waited about 15 minutes to get in. The pool was not scheduled to open until 9 am. When we tried to get in, the staff informed me it wasn't opening on time due to testing. There was no notification or sign up to inform me of this and no one told us when the pool eventually opened. This was not a great experience for a family with a toddler and the staff was unfriendly.

Relaxing for us and our pets
The Hampton Inn & Suites was a relaxing respite from our travels across North Dakota. Room was clean and our two little Dachshunds were welcomed and enjoyed their time as well. Our son had fun in the pool.

Hotel was great. Construction in the area made access to it challenging and there are not signs to guide you to the hotel anywhere in the construction area.

The breakfast was very good, and it was convenient to be able to walk to TJMAXX and Applebees. Very comfortable bed and pillows!

Avoid if possible
The hotel is old, dingy, and not very well kept. We had to go to three rooms before we walked into one that was cleaned. The first two the beds weren't fixed, sheets weren't washed, and wet towels on the floor. Another guest was having the same problem so not sure what happened, but it was late at night so plenty of time to clean the rooms. The bathroom door of the room we finally stayed in had water mildew and bubbles.
