“"Wonderful ranch experience"”

Knowing I would be in a room in a 1800's house, I didn't know what to expect. It was not only beautifully done in a Western theme, but that our room had 4 windows, soaring ceilings and cool, comfortable central air was a surprise! My 6 year old grandson was in his glory and rode, roped, shot etc to his heart's content. The view of the rolling hills, trees, cattle and horses from the rockers on the porch was serene and calming. Especially wonderful was the entire staff who "bent over backwards" to make ours a wonderful stay. They took the 6 year old "under their wing" and they will be forever in our hearts and all the conversations and experiences ingrained on our minds. I would recommend this great place for any and all. It is child and dog friendly whether you ride or just want a peaceful experience. Longing to go back.....by the way--great breakfasts

“Best dog vacation ever!”

Had a wonderful weekend at the 74 Ranch. Pam and Larry were great hosts and the ranch was rustic but clean and comfortable. And, our dog, Ginger, had the best time. We enjoyed the horseback riding and a bike ride around Jasper. And sitting on the swing at night was so relaxing. Breakfast was yummy. We'll be back!
