I stay everytime I am up in Jasper. It is the best bang for the buck.

For the price in the area I would recommend the motel. It is not 4 or 5 Star but overall I am a satisfied visitor and would return. It is a good choice for economic accommodations when you need to be in the area.

“Reasonable at the Price, Good Night's Sleep”

No problems. Reasonably comfortable and clean. Staff helpful. Breakfast good but not great. Served our purpose for the night. You do have to realize that Jasper is slightly off of the new U.S. highway (soon to be an interstate). so you have to get off the highway and follow the old highway into Jasper itself to find this motel -- and the other local motels for that matter.

“Ok on the way to races”

Hotel was fine. We stayed just one night. It was a good travel layover for the night.

“Good, inexpensive stay.”

It's a Super 8 and you get a little more than what you pay for. The motel is located on a major highway in an area of many restaurants from fast food to nice sit down eateries. After a full day of travel the motel provided a a good place to stop, have dinner and rest. No HD t.v., but an adequate television and a comfortable bed. The room appeared clean but you could tell that it was an older unit. No faceplate on one elec. outlet but that was the only maintenance issue I saw. We were on the back side of the motel so no highway noise. Probably used by traveling construction/maintenance crews for rest but we did not observe or hear any disturbances. Since we travel this same route several times a year we will continue to use this facility unless we run into any problems.

Had to stay here due to lack of rooms in Birmingham with NASCAR in-town. Room was ok. Exterior was in bad shape.

“Inexpensive but not a good value.”

Unfortunately there was water in the carpet of the first room we were given due to a leak in another room and they failed to check nearby rooms to see if there was water in them. The second room had a problem with the lock and was fixed temporarily but did not work later so we had to have the same fix again. It is an older motel, cleanliness did not seem to be any problem but the maintenance left a rather poor impression of the property.

“A real dump”

I'm not one who expects to pay a two-star price and get a five-star facility, but this one is the worst two-star I've ever stayed at. Remodeling going on and junk all over the premises. We got stuck with a room right above the laundry room and right next to a "conference" room. Bathroom and sink were both badly in need of rennovation, toilet was very sluggish, TV wouldn't get half the channels. If I'd been staying more than one night I'd have gone elsewhere. Never again !
