“A Sweet Suite!”

We booked this hotel on a one day only Expedia sale. It was by far the least expensive hotel in Jasper during the summer. I had stayed in the same hotel a few years ago on a work related event. The sale was for a two bed room and when we arrived we were given a queen bed with a separate suite. The hotel is on the main street and has lots of restaurants and amenities. We will be back!

“Such a great place to stay”

I love staying at the Amethyst. The staff are very friendly and accomodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Set on the edge of town, it is within easy walking distance of everything but away from the hubbub. Just up the road from the hotel was a herd of Elk. Who could ask for more.

“Very good hotel for the money”

The Amethyst Lodge was a very good deal for the price - I had good cable TV, a coffee maker, a great view of the mountains, a good restaurant downstairs, very helpful staff, and very close to everywhere in Jasper.

We stayed overnight at the Amethyst and found it a comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast that was reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Location great, too.

Very nice hotel with an amazing view from our balcony. Staff were friendly, the room was just right and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

“Great Spot”

All I needed was a shower, a bed, and a place to keep my stuff. The staff was very helpful, and their business centre is well-maintained. Didn't try to restaurant or the jacuzzi though. :/

“Great for pets”

Was really impressed to receive some treats for our dogs as well as a town map with directions to the dog park in town. Everything was clean and perfect. Great place.

“Superb Staff, Good Location”

I have stayed in Jasper many times, but this was my first time at the Amethyst. Excellent staff, excellent food great, location right downtown. My one complaint is that the hotel is very noisy. I am not an early riser, but was woken every morning by showers and movement for 4 suites around. Would stay again if guaranteed a top floor suite.

“Satisfactory for the rate.”

Good location -- easy walk to main services. Room was fine for the price paid. Liked having the balcony facing the mountains and morning sunrise. Great dinner deal in the restaurant. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was extremely loud -- unable to use it while sleeping. Can tell the room/bathroom is old but they have kept it respectable. I would stay there again if that was the budget I had.

“Great location, nice hotel”

This hotel was a great place to stay, needs a bit of updating but overall comfortable. The rooms are small and the bathroom was tiny so would be very crowded for an extended stay. We did not use the restaurant or lounge except for our coffee to go in the morning. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
