“Very nice; we'd go back.”

The Chateau Jasper is an older hotel that has been very nicely refurbished. The hotel is spotless, attractive; nicely appointed. The carpets look to be new as do the bathroom tiles. The rooms are large and very comfortable. I think they are set up to accommodate tour busloads and thus only have two double beds, but that certainly would not be a reason to avoid the hotel. They have a nice pool area with a hot tub. There is a nice trail not far up behind the hotel and one can walk above the town and enjoy a lovely view. We could hear the trains at night, but that would be in any Jasper hotel. We would stay there again; it would likely be our first choice.

Area recommendations
Jasper is small and any area is safe and would be recommended.

Rooms large and warm. Staff helpful. Easy walk into main street and information centre. Heaps of eating places, close to greyhound and Rocky Mountainer. Pool and hot tub. Would return. Ian and Lesley from Western Australia.

“Had a great time...what a way to spend a long weekend!”

We had such a great time...extended family, kids from 18mo to 15yrs, and adults from 30's to almost 80!...Great way to spend Thanksgiving! Jasper is such a great town, without all the 'bling' & whoopla of the other southern mountain 'resort' town. loved it....
