“Nice Place”

Nice place ,clean,quiet.

“well beyond the rating. i will be back.”

other than building maintenance this is a very good hotel. the desk staff take time to answer all questions and just CHAT. very rare. the cleaning staff go out of their way with any requests you may have. the breakfast is not fancy but there is lots. all in in all a very pleasant experience.

“Great Little Find”

The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and they provided great little extras like free internet and breakfast. We would stay there again.

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel appears to be recently built and was clean and neat. The service was excellent. Noise at night was not a problem.

“Black Bear Inn”

Black Bear Inn was easy to find. We drive all day and arrived late in the evening. We had a great stay, the showers where great, loads of hot water after the long drive.

“Little older but had all the immenities of more expensive hotels. Would stay again.”

Very quiet room. One mattrass not as comfy as the other. Elevator broken. Complimentary breakfast but could have been a few more selections. Coffee avaiable at all times in mezzanine. Ample parking. Quick check in and check out. Outside appearance newer. Inside a little older, but comfortable. Staff helpful. Internet satisfactory.

“Good Hotel”

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It was a good hotel. Its a reasonable hotel.

“Good value for money”

Friendly service, clean, spacious rooms, reasonable price, decent continental breakfast, internet access. Public areas are a bit dated and hotel could use some landscaping. Laundry machines and more importantly, hot tub were not working.

“Elevator”

I stayed at the Black Bear Inn while I visited my son. Durng the week there were some problems with the elevator. However, the staff had service people from the elevator company on site to try to solve the problem. With there only being three floors, I didn't find the elevators to be a real concern. If I were visiting the area again, I would stay there again, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

“Clean, inexpensive place to sleep”

Very "small town" feel but clean rooms & very convenient, easy to find location a short drive from Jasper. If you want the view, request a room in the front as back is not much to look at.
