A great stay

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel wasn't right in the middle of town, but just a few streets down, but there was beautiful views of the mountains which I preferred
Location: The Marmot is close to everything in town, Pyramid lake is just a few min away as is the Maligne Canyon, Old Fort and other beautiful places
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and helpful.

Humming sound of the pipes drove us nuts at night

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Ive been going here for over 20 years and i love the ambiance
Cons: Should never have put us in the room since they knew of the problem the week before.
We didnt get sleep for two straight nights. There was humming in the pipes in our room and it sounded like a bees nest. They knew about problems in some of the rooms because of the cold weather but they still put us in the room that had the worst noise even though the Motel was less than 40% full.

We would book here again

Hotel has had renovations since our last visit. Beds and pillows were super comfy. Best sleep I've had in a hotel for a long time.

It was a nice hotel with good restaurant on site

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, location and amenities.
Cons: Include bath robes for the trip to and from the hot tub.
Location: Skiing at Marmot Basin. Sight seeing along the Icefields Parkway - beautiful scenery. Athabasca Falls. Miette hot spring (not open in winter)
Hotel was good. It was nice and clean. The food in the restaurant was good too. There was an outdoor covered hot tub which was great because of the cold temperatures, it was perfect for the conditions. When we come back to Jasper, we will definitely stay here.

Friendly hotel in the heart of Rocky Mountains

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Clean and upscale. Nice setting. Doggy kit. Area to walk my dog close by.
Cons: Found the pillows very firm and flat. The fire alarm light in 114 was too bright after lights turned out. Had to sleep with a mask on.
Location: N/A....I was travelling thro.
Speedy checkin. pleasant staff. Good restaurant (Embers) close by. When my TV wasn't working after I turned it on a staff member came to fix it right away. .

Great deal

Posted Nov 18, 2014
We needed a bit of extra space as we have a baby and didn't want to be confined all in one room especially for nap time. We were able to get the kitchenette for a great price and it worked perfectly. The hotel is starting to show its age though. Everything was clean, however the bathroom had some rust and peeling paint. The radiator was a little loud at times as well (although I only noticed it on one night). If you're not looking for anything fancy, but want a place that is clean with lots of space this is a great choice. Note we ate breakfast at the embers restaurant for all 3 mornings of our stay and the food was good and staff were very friendly. Oh and the pool was nice to have too.

Ok motel in Jasper

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Went with a group for hockey, we were not put all together in one building. We were first put in a room with no heat. Wonderful staff moved us with no problem. Some rooms are upgrades and some are not. Beds are comfortable though tiny along with the rooms. Would maybe stay here again but would want an upgraded room.

Underrated gem in the mountains

Posted Nov 17, 2014
The motel was not appealing from the exterior and this reflected accurately in the price we paid for the room. However, the room itself was gorgeous and had fresh, luxurious linens, an extremely comfortable bed, large LCD tvs, a cozy electric fireplace, a modern spacious bathroom and was decorated with contemporary yet appropriate decor. I would without a doubt, stay here again and recommend it strongly to anyone looking for an affordable and great value stay in Jasper.
