Pleasant, dedicated and helpful staff, unbelievable clean floors, glass, windows, good food and excellent service, great view, quiet location yet close enough to walk into town,loved the layout of the hotel with the atrium, ammenities are wonderful, plenty of parking

“best hotel to stay in Jasper”

Our second time at the Sawridge. Good value with good comfort level. Quieter rooms are to be found on the outside rather than the atrium rooms which although quiet midweek are noisy at weekends because of the pool below. We were awakened at 7am by screaming kids in the pool.We were also unlucky to have had a noisy room heater which needs replacing, but our boys in another room were lucky to have had a newer model which caused no problems and was quiet. Beds were comfortable and facilities good as usual and the staff throughout were excellent.

Lovely room, comfortable and superb views. However the meal we had in the hotel restaurant was very expensive, very poor quality and arrived after a very long wait. A complete let down, given the lovely surroundings I would have no reservation in recomending this as a place to stay, just don't use the restaurant.

Very comfortable, clean facility one walkable mile from downtown Jasper. Suggest room with balcony for relaxing before dinner. Staff very helpful and friendly.

“Wonderful Spot”

Stayed in one of the cottage units which could use a little TLC. There were 2 other units in the building and you could hear every footstep/door slam but that did not detract from the experience much. If you can get the buffet breakfast included in your rate, do it - there's really nowhere else to eat for miles in any direction and the restaurants are not inexpensive. Driving to the valley floor or to the trailheads on Glacier Point Road takes an hour plus, simply due to the winding roads and the 20-35 mph speed limit but again that was not a negative when compared to the other hotel options. The outdoor hottub was too cool to enjoy but the indoor tub was great. The pizza at the Timberline was really good though the place itself is completely uninspiring so it'd be good for a dinner in. There was some confusion whether or not there actually were 60 miles of bike trails on the property and we didn't find out either way. Overall a great place at a decent rate considering that Yosemite lodging isn't cheap.

“Just Like Inns Should Be”

This inn was at one end of the main road; the property next door was an open field with forest just beyond where we saw deer & elk. The reception folks were nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, but was an inside room. Next time I would pay more for a room on the outside. The inn was the perfect size so that we didn't have to walk a 1/2 a mile to get to any other spot and it was pretty, too. I also enjoyed the nightly speakers from the local wildlife rangers. This was a special touch. If I go again to Jasper, which I want to because of the beauty and the wildlife, which comes right into town late at night, I would stay at the Sawridge Inn again.
