Nice hotel, convenient locationPosted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Updated, clean, good location.
Cons: Stairs only to main lobby, can't just roll bags, must carry.
Location: I stayed in Jasper, so was in walking distance. Close to restaurants and stores.
Liked that it was a nice updated hotel, quiet and in a convenient location.

Nicely refurbished hotelPosted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: The pool area is nice and the overall decor & cleanliness is very good.
Cons: Customer service and maybe look at ways of blocking/ improving the view from the room.
Location: Walking distance to everything
When you walk into the lobby it is a very pleasant surprise, they have done a good job with the refurbishment. Our room was a standard queen (one queen bed) and although it was very small, it was nicely done and comfortable. The only downside to the room was the view which was into an alley out the back with vehicles parked in it and rubbish bins. As we were only going to be there for a couple of nights (parents retreat) I called down to reception to ask that as the hotel was not full or even that busy, was there any way of moving to a room with a nicer view. I was refused. Now I wasn't asking for a free upgrade but just to another room which might have a better view but no. There was no compromise and in my mind, no customer service on this point. So rather than let it ruin our very short stay I pulled the curtains closed and ignored the view. What a shame to have to do that in Jasper. A different front desk person was more helpful though when it came to our request for a slightly later checkout as our train wasn't due to depart until 2:30, she extended us until 1:00 which we appreciated.

A nice place to stay for a very reasonable rate.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: We liked that we were located near the pedestrian stroll but not on it,so nights were quiet, and everything was with-in walking distance for us.
The hotel and room exceeded expectations considering we were just looking for lower cost accommodation. The underground parking was nice although there is a fee for it.

Close to downtown shops! Great Decor!Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Location. Room design. Pool/Hot tub area were clean and nice - a bit small with a lot of people in there.
Cons: Hotel staff needs to be more informed. Highway was closed and there was no mention of this at the front desk when checking out.
Location: Close to all the quaint shops and restaurants of Jasper.
Reasonable rates for an upscale hotel in Jasper. Most hotels are very dated and old - this newly renovated hotel was awesome! Great canadiana decor with a modern twist.

Ok for a short stayPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pillows huge, hard to sleep on, crowded room, tiny elevator, no bell carts for luggage or ski storage, hot tub way to hot! Hotel has nice modern appearance but lacking in some functionality that should be standard

Great location but cheaply builtPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was nice with cheerful and helpful staff.
Cons: I don't know that anything could be improved as the hotel suffers mainly in its design and construction materials. Soundproofing could be done.
Location: Jasper is a beautiful location and we always love coming here. It's smaller than Banff and Canmore but it's off the beaten track.
This hotel was only recently constructed and already suffers from creaking and tilting floorboards. The whole place was very cheaply built and halls were very narrow, winding back and forth between rooms. The design was strange with the hallways angling and sloping between rooms, and not very accommodating. Soundproofing is nonexistent between rooms as we could hear the TV going on all night in the next room which was an adjoining room. Very little parking was provided so we were forced to park our car on the street most nights.

Newest in JasperPosted Apr 6, 2015
Newly built hotel with everything that we needed. Short walk to town. We used the pool which was a bit dirty other than that - good stay.

Too many kids running around . I have always stayed at a Best Western. This is the first time I staying here in 20 years. It was ok for the noise. The room was nice and we had a nice view too. No freezer . Oh well.
