The airport lost my luggage, but the extremely helpful staff at Le Meridien retrieved it for me and provided me with much-needed toothbrush, razor, etc. They also (because the no-smoking floor was booked) upgraded me to an enormous penthouse suite that was big enough for an average sized Saudi family. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in (and I travel constantly throughout the region). Overall, an exceptional experience!

I would have liked a place to exercise and swim and cheaper rates for hotel tours (4x outside taxi prices). Staff were friendly and helpful, even to getting expresso to go for an early airport run. Wifi helpers could have been more helpful for English-speakers. The free expresso in the lounge was a welcome surprise! Beds were comfortable with white, high quality coverings; we slept well. When asked, a plumber fixed our hot water to a satisfactory level. Overall, a good location and comfortable place.
