very quiet place

breakfast is not high quality according to the price frontdesk service is good room service is so so no coffee bar it is not esay for shopping, eating and entertainment nearby

Pros: large room
Cons: bath tub looked odd with a lot of scrub marks. wondered how that happened.
Location: location is good.
The hotel is conveniently located, but it is old and not well kept up. The resto is not open. Maybe, someone will buy it and renovate it.

Actual facility looked like an upscale American hotel but it was really just a safe, clean room with reasonably comfortable beds; nothing to write home about.

Pacific Hotel in Jeju, Korea - bad choice!

We booked the Pacific Hotel based on it's star rating on hotels.ca. - All their rooms are smoking rooms (no option for non-smoking) - Room decor is dated, carpets are very dirty and brown in color, bathrooms had mildew in the tiles, wallpaper was peeling around the sinks - Air condition DOES NOT WORK!!! And made it very difficult to sleep at night. - All ventilation is shut-off by the hotel at 930am (we think this was to save electricity) so it became unberable to stay in our room when the sun started shining in the window. - No wireless internet. A charge applies for using their business center, even if you are a hotel guest.

Excellent service

I have stayed in this hotel before and not had such a good room as this last time in 2010 August. This time was great. Always ask for a room with an outside view as the courtyard view is rather gloomy. Recently redone rooms are very nice and very good value. Concierge service is excellent and tips are not expected.
