Avoid, specially during WinterPosted Jan 12, 2013
We had used 2 rooms and this may not be a good hotel in Winter. The air conditioning just kept heating the rooms even when switched off completely. Rooms were suffocatingly dry and warm for nights even when with window kept open ( which lets a lot of noise in). Hotel keeps the entire interior at warm enough temps and rooms are not sealed properly. This is okay during the day but not in the night. Every thing, including basic things like Shampoo pouches are charged extra. Breakfast too is charged extra and is mainly Korean and does not include fresh egg dishes.

Needs furniture and light switchesPosted Nov 2, 2011
Room was large, beds good, but lacked table and chairs. Wakeup call was on time. Carpet in corrodor dirty. Plumbing and TV good. Lights could not be switched off – no switch on walls or lamps. Had to unplug lamps and remove key from slot to turn off the lights!

Robero Hotel in JejuPosted Oct 8, 2010 on Hotels.com
Was not pleased with the room. It was very stuffy even though we have adjusted themostat to the lowest temperature. Air was poorly circulated. Furniture was old and not maintained. However, hotel was conveniently located. Very close to Dong Mun Fish Market. Within walking distance.

ESL teacher escapes to Jeju!Posted Aug 4, 2010
Great hotel. Clean and comfortable. The hotel workers don't speak any English, but there are 2 free computers in the lobby you can use to research tourist attraction information.

I stayed at the Robero for one night during a vacation on Jeju-do. It was an acceptable hotel. The positives: it's clean and well located next to shopping, entertainment and airport. Beds are comfortable and the floor is carpeted--rare for most of Korea. The staff did a good job--they ordered in pizza and called taxis for us. Also, the city taxi drivers all knew the name of the hotel which was an added perk--no language mix-ups. Negatives: Aging facilities, toiletries and water that were extra charge by item, and lighting issues. In short, I've done extensive travel in Korea and I've stayed in nicer and cheaper love motels! Threre are plenty of those in the area as well. Though it was an okay night, I wouldn't stay at the Robero again.

Would Stay Here AgainPosted Jun 11, 2010
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It had a nice location and we were close to everything we wanted to do. We were pleased with the quality of room that we got, especially for the price. The staff was helpful, despite the language barrier.
