Jerome's haunted hotelPosted Jul 4, 2010
The hotel lives up to its reputation for creepiness but in a good way. Several things happened which may have been a coincidence or maybe supernatural. It was worth the trip. The town of Jerome is charming with great restaurants and the drive there from both directions is scenic. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going there.

Interesting visitPosted May 12, 2010
Staff was extremely friendly and curious, but really were not much help with directions and would not recommend a place to eat, simply listed the available places. Is definitely a old hotel. Had to hold the cold water spigot so it would not turn when turning on and off. A 'hillside' room is exactly that .. hill about 10 feet away from window and that s what you see. Pay the extra for a city view room. Road to hotel is single car traffic and difficult to find and get to .. Must enter going south and exit going 'north' due to curve in the road. If going in the summer, be aware that cooling is 'flow through' ventilation. Elevator is old and very charming, was fun to ride. Be aware that all walking in town is either up hill or down. Over all, was a nice / fun experience.

This was my 2nd stay there and I'll be back.Posted Mar 31, 2010
There are only 2 hotels and 2 b&b's in the small town of Jerome. I love this place, great food and of course hoping to see a ghost. No luck with the ghost. It's a hoot reading the book about other's encounters as this was a hospital way back when the miners were digging for copper and ore. Everything is very clean and lots of antiques to look at. The views are incredible and you can leave your car and walk the entire town easily.
