"Nice hotel, GREAT price, loved it!"
We are definitely budget travelers, and always go for the least expensive room we can find, as we only need a clean place to sleep and shower. I booked online and chose Days Inn because it also had a continental breakfast, something else that saves us time and money.
The staff was friendly, and very patient! The poor girl at the front desk had someone on the phone who was just not understanding what she was trying to tell them, and she was the most patient person that I have ever seen in this situation. I was impressed!
The room was fantastic! We had the cheapest room with one queen bed, but it was well laid out and seemed spacious (for a small room). The shower was powerful for a hotel, and felt great after a long day of driving. There was no tub, but the shower stall was large and roomy. The bed had four pillows that were plumped into fat fluffy balls, and again, very comfy for leaning against while watching TV, not the standard thin hotel pillows.
And to top it off, the continental breakfast was very good! (for a budget hotel) On top of the usual dry cereal, pastries and toast, they had a waffle station, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and bacon. Bacon! I loved the eggs after so many carbohydrates and my husband liked the bacon. And the OJ was good too, not the frozen bitter kind!
We will definitely stay here again! Our only issue was finding it, turn into the Flying J and LOOK for it! The sign is small and not very bright.
We stayed here on the trip home too!
