Stay was horrible. Room telephone was not working

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Renovate it and keep the dead raccoons off of the roof, mildew out of the bathroom, full box of Kleenex not leftover tissues.
Front desk personnel was not helpful. No available parking on the premises had to park 3 miles away.

The hotel staff was very nice - room was fine . DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT off the Lobby . Terrible service and there was a piece of plastic on my sandwich and insects in another persons salad .

Would Not have stayed- Never staying again

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: The front entrance was clean. Pool looked ok.
Cons: Everything!
Location: Chain food is a short drive. GPS is very necessary.
First. It is not called the Clarion. its Empire something. Outside NO PARKING! very insufficient parking. Im talking 20 parking spaces for the entire hotel! they said they where working on the parking deck beside the hotel. And If we could not find a parking spot we would have to drive offsite...3+ blocks away and catch a troll....This information not provided at check in Nor any other time. Hotel outside is beat up and the window tint is falling of the windows! Room was not clean enough. Carpet was dirty and I found hairpins laying on the chair. Towels had fingernail polish on them. BEDS! where Awfully small. Two 130-180 pound adults can not sleep comfortably. Very narrow! everything is dated. dated, dated. The first young ladies at the counter at check in where very nice. Second day we had this Dull young man at the desk who had no help. WiFi was weak. Walls are very thin! I am a heavy sleeper and I was constantly awoken by the neighboring hotel guest closing the door...a 50.00 hold is placed on your card for 3-10 days. ice machine is dirty. Vending machines are on various floors...Bad management. Would never come again. Not recommending this hotel to anyone.

Could have been better

Posted Jun 19, 2015
The shower in one of the rooms was not working properly and even though we called and asked for fixing, no one cared. The second room was suppose to be a 2 bedroom with 2 beds. The beds were 2, but there was only one room and that was all they had. What do you do at that time when you have reserved your room 5 months in advance and traveled from West to East coast and have arrived at 7PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ideale basis voor CITY trip NY

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Rustige ligging, gezellige bar, heerlijke en betaalbare maaltijden.
Location: Bushalte nabij hotel. Kleine supermarkt in omgeving welke 24 u p.d. is geopend.

Graduation party

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: Staff was very helpful
Cons: Paint the rooms, put in new equipment, put in new bed spreads
Location: Very close to restaurant where reception was held
The staff was very nice. Hotel parking garage was destroyed from the snow and had to park off site. Room looked old. Comforter was ripped. Room was clean except for giant hair ball on rug. Just expected a nicer hotel room for the money.

Close to the Meadowlands

Posted May 30, 2015
Was looking for an inexpensive hotel for a 2 day event at the Meadlowlands. The price fit our budget and the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to get to and from the event with no problem. Also, we had an after party in the hotel courtyard starting after mid-night. We were respectful and no one bothered us and no one complained. The staff was great

Hotel was easy to get to, only one stop on the train from Manhattan, clean and tidy.
