If you like construction...Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful!
We had a good stay except for the lobby, which was under construction at the time. Unfortunately this is where you get your breakfast. Noise and inconvenience. The floor in the hall in front of the the elevators was being laid as we headed out in our finest clothes (and shoes) to attend a wedding. The staff was knowledgable and helpful. I felt bad for them, but I wish I had been told about the construction situation ahead of time.

The only major draw back to this hotel is that you can only go in 1 direction when you leave. So you have to drive in the opposite direction for about a mile to back track just to go across the street. Not really good planning in that aspect

Close to NYCPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were pleased with the service at the hotel. The staff were very helpful in getting us into the city. There is a NJ transit bus stop within two blocks of the hotel. We were in the city in 15 minutes. It was a lot cheaper than staying in NYC

Ideal if you want to save money..!!!Posted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located about 7 min bus ride and 5 min walk from NY Downtown (42nd & 8th). Bus fare is 6.50 round trip and you save atleast $80-$100 per night in comparison with Manhattan hotel with same facility. I came in hotel just to sleep after long sightseeing day so i couldnt care less about hotel's function and facility :-), spent 3 nights here and highly recommended..!!!

New York VacationPosted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: indoor pool, friendly staff
Cons: no continental breakfast
Location: great location to New York, could be a bit closer to shopping and restaurants
My husband and I were travelling from Canada and wanted to visit New York city, but we didn't want to pay New York city prices, but stay in a nice hotel. I found this hotel online and was very pleased. Pricing was very reasonable, the location was great to get to New York(just across the bridge, approx 10 minute bus ride to New York), but could have been a bit closer to shopping and restaurants in New Jersey, had to go across the highway (approx 10 minute walk). The hotel was very clean, the staff there were great! I've never met nicer and more helpful staff at a hotel. They arranged our Gray line tour bus for us and gave us details about it. They were very knowledgable everytime we asked how long it would take to get somewhere, or directions on how to get there. They gave us written DETAILED instructions on how to get back and forth to New York city via the city bus (keep those handy, you'll need them, as its a bit confusing at first to get back to the hotel from New York). The only negative thing that I was a bit disappointed at, is the hotel doesn't include a continental breakfast, which seems to be standard nowadays. They have a hot breakfast available, but you have to pay around $12/person (which isn't alot of money, but when we're not big breakfast eaters, the continental breakfast would have been nice). If you're looking for a clean hotel, close to New York at a reasonable price, I would totally recommend this one. The staff are very friendly.
