Just a one night stay...

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness of the shower. The availability of the refrigerator, many times they are only for hotel snacks for sale.
Cons: Not a big deal, but the towels were not great.
Location: MANHATTAN! There is no other necessity for things to do! We used the Ferry to and from the city. Jersey City was also a great surprise.
Just a one night stay, but we were made to feel that we were the most important guest that day! The room was cleaner than the comparable hotel in San Jose that we stayed in a few weeks ago. ( That one had mold in the shower).

Absolutely amazing hotel & stunning views of NYC.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The BEST views of New York City, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, amazing room.
Cons: Car GPS location does not co-ordinate will hotel car-park (check directly with hotel if arriving by car).
The waterfront location of the hotel provides the most stunning views of the Manhattan sky line, from both the public areas and guest rooms. Although we only stayed for 1 night and did not take the nearby water-taxi over to NYC, it appeared to be very frequent and just a few minutes ride over to Manhattan, making the hotel a (better?) alternative to staying in the heart of the city. If arriving at the hotel by car be prepared to drive through some 'are the doors locked' neighbourhoods and be sure to use a GPS. Overall one of the best hotel experiences ever (I am a frequent traveller and am not easily impressed!). Outstanding service and very professional yet friendly team of staff.

Fabulous stay!

Posted Aug 23, 2014
-great location: safe and upscale area. right by the river, walking distance to cafes and restaurants and transit!! View of manhattan (depends on your room location of course) -great service: Employees (except this one we met) were extremely helpful and did the best in their power to give us a room with a good view and cater to our other requests. Great convenient valet service (a little pricy but I'm sure it's because parking in this prime location is just expensive) -great room: The room was extremely clean Supplies of basic bathroom necessaries, including toothpaste

Fantastic views

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The views!
Cons: More vegetarian options on the menut
Location: Good. Weekends are a problem with the PATH station not being open but there are alternative routes available to NYC
The staff are really friendly.. the hotel rooms are very clean and a decent size. Food wise - not much choice for vegetarians on the menu but they are accommodating. The views from the room and the waterfront are fantastic. Travelling to NYC is really easy though the PATH is not open at the weekends... the alternative is to get a ferry or a train from Hoboken.

Excellent hotel for business or pleasure trip.

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Great room, fantastic views, good food and excellent service.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Jersey City waterfront and the Paulous Hook neighborhood are great for walking around in the evening. the Path train to NYC.
I booked the Hyatt for a business trip to Jersey City and thanks to the great location, comfortable accomodations and convenience of the PATH train was able to squeeze in some fun in Manhattan. The hotel bar and restaurant have a view that is out of this world, and the walk around the hotel is worth doing morning and evening for the stunning views of the Hudson river/Manhattan skyline. Excellent overall experience. My trip to Newark Airport could not have been easier, the hotel car was comfortable and service was spot on.
