Save your time and find something else

My family were visiting NYC, so we chose this place for it's close to Manhattan. However, the hotel does not close to any public transportation. In order to get to the nearest train station, you need either drive yourself and park for $24 per day(parking space very limited) or take the shuttle from the hotel. We chose to use the shuttle service, which turn outs to be a joke. First day, I asked for the service and was told need to wait for 2 hours for the next available shuttle. I called that night to reserve the shuttle for next morning but was told they only take reservation 30min in advance. Fine, I call the front desk at 9:29 asking for 10:00 shuttle, and was told that it's not available until 11:00. How ridiculous! On the way back, we call the hotel for pickup and waited 40min for the shuttle, although the train station is only 6min driving from the hotel. As a result, we spent at least 2 hours of our time per day just getting to/from the train station! For the hotel itself, the air conditioner was very dated and made huge noise. Also one night the alarm ring for 20 minutes for no reason. WiFi is very unstable, I cannot connect most of the time except early in the morning where not so many people are using it. Breakfast was OK, comparing to everything else.

The hotel needs good maintenance, chairs in the seating area need to be changed. Breakfast needs better arrangement and variety of food.

economic stay

Pros: price
Cons: faster internet, more quiet airconditioners in rooms, bigger television screens. The distance from t.v to the bed is too big for such a small screen.
Location: close to Harmon Plaza and its restaurants & outlets
The hotel is within close proximity to both bus or train setvice to NY. Although the hotel advertises free shuttle service to either location ( or any other location ariubd the area fir that matter) the hotel currently owns a small minivan (6 seats) and thus this service isn't always available when many guests are staying. In addition, you can only book it 30 minutes in advance. So even if you know that you must be in the city in the evening, reserving a future seat isn't an option. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, became monotenous after the second day and is truly nothing to write home about. The biggest selling point of this hotel is its friendly and forthcoming staff!!!

Nice hotel good commute to NYC

Overall experience was good. Room was very clean when we checked in and was very well maintained. Cleaning staff was great through out our 3 night stay. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. But had same things every morning. Not much fruit and no yogurt offered on buffet. No bacon as well that had been promised. Things were not refilled on buffet. Felt like they were skimping on service to save a buck. Game room as well as gym no longer in hotel as advertised. Shuttle service was sometimes very sparce. When we checked in we were told one of there mini vans were out of service. So we did have to pay for taxis from train to hotel coming back from sightseeing in NYC. Staff were very friendly and if visiting NYC prob would consider staying here again.

The hotel was poorly maintained and dirty. The check-in desk and elevators were filthy. There were fingerprints and a thick layer of dust at the front desk. The Lobby also reaked of smoke due to the groups of people standing next to the overflowing garbage receptacles by the entrance. The shuttle service was working on a limited schedule and was a beat up Toyota mini can with a side view mirror missing. The guest room accommodations were "cleaner" than the rest of the hotel, but I still felt uncomfortable. Goes to show you....you get what you pay for. I won't make the mistake of waiting till the last minute to make a hotel reservation again.
