Excellent solution for visiting New YorkPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very clean hotel, looks and smells fresh and new; friendly service; bus stop for NY Port Authority across the street; very good breakfast buffet and, during weekdays, an excellent evening buffet amounting to a dinner. PS My daughters loved the rubber ducky in the bathroom, great personal touch.

Clean & Comfy!Posted Aug 13, 2013
Location: We went to a concert a MetLife and were shuttled to and from the arena for $10/per person. It was extremely convenient.
Our room was beautiful and very clean. That means a lot coming from a neat freak! We had a king bed and full kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable and the set up of the room was very nice. I also liked that it was off the beaten path and not in the middle of the craziness. They also had a great breakfast in the morning.

Definitely worth booking!Posted Jun 6, 2013
Pros: Breakfasts, pool, staff friendliness
Cons: Lack of path at the front of hotel
Location: Nice area, quiet and easy to get to central Manhattan
Me and a friend stayed here for one week at the end of May 2013. We booked because of the price and because it looked like a nice little cosy hotel. Wow were we surprised for the better! The staff were really welcoming on arrival/ throughout our stay. Rooms were lovely, nice open plan, good space for 2 people. Reasonably comfortable too. Bed had the linens changed twice a week and extras provided in the wardrobe. Full size airing board, iron with laundry services onsite. Lovely power shower and shampoo/body wash provided. Didnt bother with any food in the evening, found it easier to take snacks back to the room. However - breakfast selection was very simple but very pleasant - range of hot food (usually scrambled egg, sausage patties, wedges, french bread etc), cereals, waffles, bagels, plus tea, coffee, juice. Found out towards the end of our stay that we could take the breakfasts up to our room on the paper plates so thats what we did! Housekeeping was nothing short of amazing, we left them a $10 tip if thats any indication! NJ transit bus stop is about 5 mins walk, should be a proper path at the front of the hotel as we had to walk around the side route. Route 163 stops there and you can buy the 10 ticket discount at Port Authority which is $39. (route 164 takes the 163 tickets too) Just a word of warning not related to the hotel - dont use NY Airport Shuttle (NYAS) to link to JFK. Terrible return service! Overall, would definitely go back again! :)

Great value for moneyPosted Jun 2, 2013
I stayed here with four other adult family members in two suites and thought that they were excellent. Each suite had large bathrooms, fridge/freezers, microwave ovens and large sitting/dining areas and good wi-fi connections. The indoor pool was good and available for 17 hours per day. The breakfast was very good with cereals, toast and a choice of cooked items available in a buffet style. A bonus for us was that, during the week, the hotel also provided a buffet style light evening meal at no extra cost. The hotel also provided menus for various eating establishments in the locality where you could dine or order a takeaway. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and the bus ride into New York takes approximately 30 minutes. You can also travel further into New Jersey if you wish and the fares are very reasonable. There was only one problem we encountered and that was not down to the hotel. If you are flying to JFK and you pre-purchase transportation vouchers for GO Airlink, they will only take you to a hotel in the Manhattan area, they do not cover New Jersey. The staff at the hotel were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here in the future.
