Just needed a room

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: convenience
Cons: cleanliness and better repair work in room. Sloppy work on repairs in bathroom and the cleanup of bathroom.
Location: close to Metlife stadium
Beds are too hard and bathroom was not quite as clean as it should be. Bathroom door was broken. Old place, but it worked for what we needed. Next time I will spend more and stay elsewhere, but I have been in much worse before.

For the price I did pay, can't ask for more. Really spacious and the room was clean, enough towels, coffe, fridge. ...just good enough! !!

Spend a little more and find a better spot

Cons: Customer service, cleanliness
I think I stayed here for all of two hours because it was the cheapest option I had found. There were bed bugs in the room and had to leave immediately. The few dollars a night I saved was certainly not worth the hassle of taking precautions before heading back home.

It's not easy to find the location. Room is clean. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is ok. You get what you pay for.

Don't pay budget prices looking for 5star service

they say you get what you pay for and I believe it. The room was very large but the way it was decorated made me disinterested. The sink was clogged and it was nasty from a black ring. The hotel side door entrance remained open throughout the night which led a draft in the hallway and into my room which was right by the door. Going to breakfast in the morning was unpleasant as we had to travel not war but travel up three flights of stairs in the cold. Going up the stairs is not the problem going up the stairs in bitter cold with winds blowing off of deep snow is an issue. The guys at the desk who checked me in we're not the friendliest but nothing to complain about. Some people run the business like a business just because it is a business and some people run their business with a flair that will make you want to come back because they show you they appreciate you. Elderly woman who handled the food at the breakfast bar sat in the room that was ice cold wear breakfast was being served. This is a old hotel that need updating. That's all I can say about it

Broken elevator over 2/3 weeks. Luke warm shower at best(on this particular stay). Could be a little cleaner. Good for a cheap short stay.
