Customer service was excellent! Nice pool/hot tub area. James was very helpful in giving directions to nearby places. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Will definitely be staying here next time I visit the area.

Checked in on time was greeted at the door by warm and friendly staff. We had a bunch of bags which the staff offered to bring them up to the room for us. My only complaint was my keycards didn't work in the elevator.

Took the family to see the Rockette's in New York so stayed at this hotel because trying to get a room for 6 people in New York city was outrageous. The bus stop is right across the street and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. It takes 20 to 40 minutes to get to the port authority bus station in New York. This is right near Times Square. Bus tickets are about $15 round trip per adult and half price for kids. This worked for us.

The proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel made it very convenient to travel back & forth to the colleges that we were touring that we're located in Manhattan. The view of the Hudson, from the room, was spectacular. The proximity to really good & affordable restaurants was a plus as well.
Lastly, and most importantly, the room was clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. If my son attends one of the colleges that we toured, my husband and I will more than likely stay at the Sheraton when we visit him.

This is my second stay at Candlewood and Jersey City and I am quite pleased with my experience. The hotel is a quick 8-10 minute walk to the PATH station and ferry to get to NYC (5 dollars round trip on the ferry) and the restaurants in the vicinity are all great places to stop and have a bite. The area is nice, the staff is friendly and very helpful if you have questions, and the option for parking is excellent if you're driving in from out of town. Didn't have enough time to utilize the kitchenette, but definitely will the next trip! If you're a student or traveling on business and you'd like a quiet place to unwind, I would definitely recommend!
