Very classy hotel at a reasonable price.Posted Sep 12, 2014
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Jersey hotel. The staff were very helpful, rooms were kept clean and the spa was brilliant too. I would recommend a visit.

Fabulous, comfortable stay in JerseyPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Its position, its comfort and the great, friendly staff. The spa also deserves a special mention.
Location: Great location, great sea view and only a short walk in to St Helier (and the Nigel Mansell museum, which my boyfriend particularly enjoyed).
From the warm welcome at check-in to the impressive parking skills of the staff, we cannot fault the hotel. Great position overlooking the sea and Elizabeth castle, and a pleasant 5 minute walk in to St Helier. The room was overlooking the park, but still had a sea view and fantastic sunsets in the West, lovely. Nice sizeable room, very big and comfortable bed. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choice and catered for most tastes - staff attentive during service and top-ups of coffee/tea and fruit juice were limitless. I also had a couple of treatments in the spa, again great facilities and felt so relaxed afterwards, a real treat. All in all a great hotel and the staff are the key to upholding the high standards.

Nice and clean hotel.Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Nice and clean bedrooms and as I said before very central
Cons: Bar staff was a bit slow in serving and then at the end of the night they where slow bringing the bill. Could do with more staff on.
Very central and staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast plenty of choice and staff very attentive.

AMAZING!!!Posted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: Slightly warmer pool?!?
Location: It's in St Helier, you can reach the rest of the island from there!!
View from the room was amazing, the food was superb, the facilities were second to none, concierge service was great, the restaurant staff were out of this world!! It was the perfect hub for our honeymoon on the island. The Grand and it's staff were a credit to the beautiful island it is situated on!!! Not enough superlatives would do it justice!!!

Classic inside room next to air con unit!Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Meals were very good
Cons: Putting on website that inside rooms are noisy due to location of air con unit
Location: Hotel on busy 4 lane main road
Stayed in inside classic room which was right next to air con unit which was very noisy. Ask to move and was then put in room next to building site, also very noisy. Staff not sympathetic and eventually got moved to another hotel which we wished we had booked instead.

nice hotel on the seafrontPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: the dining restraunts and bars were of a good standard also the provision of the spa facilities
Cons: the breakfast experience and the supervision of the in house cleaning operation
Location: walking distance of st helier good quality shopping along with a very varied choice of dining out options.
the walk in shower was dirty and took 3 people 2 days to clean the walls of black mould.the buffet breakfast was only lukewarm every morning this was due to only tiny heaters under the food storage containers.to me this was not remotely acceptable for a 5 star hotel and totally ruined my expensive holiday.

very good but is dated.Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: very central, staff very helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Cons: needs a bit of new furniture, i.e. our wardrobe looked like the bottom of the door had been chewed, and parts were very dusty,
Location: Elisabeth castle well worth a visit, the jersey museum, also the war tunnels, catch a bus from the bus terminus about 10-15 mins walk away
very good hotel but tired and dated, nice old character about it but it just needs some new furniture, and rooms a bit dusty.

Comfortable hotel with very attentive staffPosted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in our comfort.
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Hotel is on the seafront and it's a short walk into St Helier town centre. All island attractions are easily accessible (car or bus)
After a warm welcome and easy check-in we discovered a problem with our room's en-suite. We were helped to move to an alternative room efficiently and without any fuss. The public rooms were very comfortable and the staff excellent throughout hotel and spa. Food was delicious, although breakfast (not included) was rather expensive.
