Lovely short stay, staff really helpful.Posted Jul 27, 2015
We only stayed one night and even though we had a room "without a view", it was a lovely experience. Staff very helpful, fabulous meal in Victoria's, and the choice for breakfast was fabulous. The weather wasn't great but the choice of tea in the bar was great. would recommend.

Our one week holiday in The Grand at St HelierPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed everything about the Hotel, including the convenient location.
Location: The location was excellent, close by the sea and also restaurants, a theatre and cinema.
My husband and I enjoyed an excellent stay at The Grand in Jersey. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very accommodating. The room size was sufficient and the bed size was excellent. We had a wonderful view of Elizabeth Castle from the window. The Breakfasts provided were superb both in quantity and selection. The staff were on hand all the time. Our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and we enjoyed the turn down service every evening.

Great view and location.Posted Jul 26, 2015
This hotel is perfectly placed close to the beach and only a short walk to the town. Along with the sites of interest around the island, the scenery and slower pace of life made for a very relaxing 5 days. Special mention must be made for the excellent and friendly staff at this hotel.

Outstanding hotel. Amazing staff. Great location.Posted Jul 19, 2015
Cons: Can't suggest anything. Our stay was relaxing and just what we hoped for.
Location: Easy access to lots of nice restaurants and places to see.
A week of luxury. Staff are consistently good making you feel so well looked after. Customer service outstanding due to committed deicated staff. We watched staff deal with holidaymakers of all ages in a gracious caring manner. Food was excellent. We had a room with a view of Elizabeth Castle-great to wake up to each day. Would we go back? Yes and definitely recommend to anyone. Hotel has a great pool & spa- would recommend you make good use of this too. Hotel location is great for seeing St Helier and close to local bus station.

Very comfortable - excellent foodPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Extremely helpful staff and what meals we had were excellent but slightly expensive. Close to centre of town and buses.
Cons: Attention to towel rail in bathroom - could not be controlled - almost like a sauna - furnishings a bit tired looking
Location: Close to town centre and local buses. At our age we were not looking for any outside activities.
Staff were excellent and only too obliging - room was smaller than we envisaged but it had all the necessary facilities - no outlook - only to a courtyard - bathroom was like a sauna - even with help from room staff, towel rail kept pumping out extraordinary heat - almost like a sauna. Did not use any of the extra facilities so cannot comment. Hotel hand for buses around the island and town centre.

Great Hotel in excellent locationPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: The Location, The Breakfasts. The Staff were courteous, attentive and very helpful.
Cons: I don't think that improvements are possible
Location: Handy for the town, the beach and the adjacent park.
The breakfast is one of the best we've had in any hotel. The location was excellent. The rooms were slightly smaller than those provided by some hotels of similar status. The rooms are of reasonable size. The bed was very comfortable. Very low noise despite the busy traffic on a morning and early evening. Overall a great hotel for adults but facilities for children seem to be limited

Beautiful location, panoramic sea viewPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: As previous
Cons: Only one VERY VERY small observation, the lift door needed to be kept polished - small fault but a good first impression. can be made here.
Location: As previous
from the moment we stepped out of our hired car, greeted by very polite, welcoming staff we knew it was to be a very good stay. That warmth and attitude was found with ALL staff, all depts. and all ages. Expected a slightly larger room but with a separate dressing area and good size bathroom it was adequate. Can highly recommend this Hotel. Exceptional location, easy to walk everywhere in St. Helier and easy drive to other beautiful beaches/restaurants. Breakfast suited to all needs. Fresh and appetizing and service next to none - as soon as an item was gone it was replaced with fresh.
