Location: close to bus station and town
Disappointed that breakfast wasn't included in the price we paid through Expedia as there was no indication that it wasn't included on any of the paperwork. The room was ok but situated at the back of the hotel so was very noisy as there was a pub and a club below us and over the road. So there was a lot of noise from midnight until 2 a.m. We shut the window and put the air conditioning on but that proved very noisy too.

Cheeky Jersey break

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: We liked the pleasant staff and the location
Cons: I'm not sure you can do anything about the hot rooms when the air con is off
Location: The buses on Jersey are brilliant and cost very little. We recommend the war tunnels, Elizabeth island and the walk along to the next town.
This was our first visit to Jersey and the hotel. We arrived at the hotel about 8.30am and asked to leave our luggage which was not a problem. We knew our room would not be ready and we were happy to have breakfast at the cafe bar who serve HOT coffee (I cannot stand warm coffee!) and plan our day. The reception staff were very helpful and even arranged for a bottle of champagne to be on ice for our wedding anniversary when we finally came back to the room. The room had no view but we were not there much anyway. The air con worked well but we found it too noisy for sleeping and so the room was a bit hot over night. We had one meal in the restaurant and the food was good but we were put out of the way against a wall which was not that great. I know ther were only two of us but we'd have liked a bit more space aswell.

Lovely hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff. I left my purse in room on checkout - returned to me when I collected my case later that day. Very grateful for this.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Close to main shops for St Helier. 2 mins from bus station so no need to rent a car as buses go very regularly to all popular places on Island.
Just come back from spending 5 days and 4 nights in Jersey. Lovely sunny weather. Well worth a visit to the Lavender Farm.
