Excellent stay in Jersey

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Absolutely nothing
We had a 2 night stay at the Royal Yacht Hotel and would certainly recommend it to anyone. It had all the facilities you could wish for i.e 3 bars / restaurants. The hotel was convenient for all other amenities within St Helier. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and very professional. Hats off to the cleaning staff also, as the rooms were lovely and clean and also to the bar staff for the bar areas were cleaned if and when needed. We would have no hesitation to return to Jersey and stay in this superb hotel.

You get what you pay for !!

My wife and I have just returned from 5 nights in the Royal Yacht. We upgraded to the Gold Deluxe Room with a balcony, which whilst expensive, was worth every penny. The hotel is first class. The staff are incredibly friendly, food was tremendous and the location is perfect. Not a cheap break - but I'm so glad we paid the money.

Great location

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Staff were very friendly, rooms very clean and quiet (we were at the back).
Cons: The bathroom was very small in our room.
Location: Can walk into town or to the beach. Bus station near too!
We stayed here while watching the Island Games. Great view of the beach volleyball. Lovely hotel with very relaxed atmosphere.

Nice hotel right on Liberation Square

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: We liked the hotel overall and the way the new had been linked on to the existing, very central location, nice and clean and fresh and staff friendly.
Cons: Some variety to the food at breakfast would be great, quality of food was fine just the same every day, the chef needs to get some imagination.
Location: Very central location, short distance to the bus station and restaurants and shops. Beach not too far off.
We stayed at the Royal Yacht for 9 nights and had a very pleasant stay, we had a Silver room at the end which may have been slightly bigger than the others which looked on to an internal courtyard so was very quiet. Good facilities within the hotel and a number of different restaurants and bars and there was a good lounge, Lazyjacks so you did not need to sit in your room. The Sirocco restaurant had a covered external balcony for dining and we often had breakfast there. Breakfast was good but a bit of variety would have been nice, same every day, orange or grapefruit juice, fruit was melon or sometimes melon and pineapple, hot food very nice but again same every day. great omelettes ham or cheese and ham or plain.

Good hotel in excellent location

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: My stay at the Royal Yacht largely contributed to a very enjoyable, if short, visit to Jersey.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Central location with just short walk to bus station, taxi rank, shops, beach, parks.
Spent four nights at Royal Yacht. Wanted to see as much of the island as possible so location to the bus station and its excellent services enabled this. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Gold twin room on 5th floor was very good, not much of a view but importantly very quiet. Breakfast was excellent whatever your needs and the staff were attentive, pleasant and courteous.

Sehr gut und zentral gelegen.

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Freundlicher Service.
