Long weekend at The Savoy

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: It had great restaurant's and after a long day I did not want to go looking for a good restaurant.
Cons: Not sure but we were on the 1st floor and Saturday did get noisy late at night.
Location: Location was great about about 12 min walk to Liberation Square and the shops
Arrived early at The Savoy so could not access room but went for breakfast which is highly recommended had a full day in town (St. Helier) arrived back at the hotel about 3 pm our case had been put in our room, which was excellent . We ate in the Al Carte restaurant food was excellent. On the Saturday full day a the Durrell's Zoo great value for money booked the trip with hotel although you can get a bus from Liberation Square. Hotel was a bit noisy in the evening as they have live Jazz and a private function. Check out on the Monday was very smooth reception call us a taxi to the airport. Yes the staff could not do enough to help they were all very nice and the food was excellent yes I would recommend this hotel

A fabulous hotel which has everything you could want, it's obviously just had a makeover so everywhere look clean and modern. A very plush reception, bar and restaurant, and also a terrace bar, I would definately recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel.....lovely staff

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, room, pool area, location
Had a fantastic stay at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff on reception were informative about the facilities at the hotel. The room and bathroom was clean with coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryer. The king size bed was very comfortable. Although too cold to use the pool we did sit on the beds and chairs and the whole area is well looked after. Fabulous breakfast choices cooked to order. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: Staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you. We asked for fresh milk every day for tea in our room as don't like the UHT. they were happy to oblige
Cons: No radiator in our bathroom. When questioned they said some don't , could be a problem in winter.
Location: Went on the Jersey Red Bus tour of island, well worth the money .Mark our driver was very jolly and could tell us so much about the island.
First holiday to Jersey. Chose the Savoy ,was not disappointed the staff are superb can't do enough to help you .Breakfast excellent plenty of choice.Eat in hotel several times the food was very good although limited choice. Friday night is jazz night set menu. Would certainly go back to the Savoy if visiting Jersey again.

Great for early season

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Staff, room, location, food.
Hotel overall was excellent. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Easy check in/out. 10 minute walk from town/beach. Great breakfast, & food in the evening was very tasty & quite reasonably priced. We had a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel, which was really nice to enjoy the early sunshine, but it would be quite noisy if the bar deck was busy in the high season. Great stay & would thoroughly recommend to anyone!!
