Wonderful Time!!

Pros: The Hotel staff is truly accommodating. Manager on duty Miri H did everything to make me and my family's stay enjoyable.
Cons: Not enough Parking in the parking lot!
Location: The Israeli Market (Mahane Yehuda), Near the Kneset, Near the highway entrance to tel aviv and Dead Sea
I had a lovely time yet again at the Crowne Plaza. The hotel is clean and there is housekeeping twice a day. The lobby is great. Swimming pool is Olympic size and the gym is up to date with nice steam and sauna. The FOOD is just unbelievable, DELICIOUS, and fit for a king and the hotel is truly sensitive to people with food allergies and dietary restrictions like gluten free and sugar free. Breakfast includes all you can eat buffet with cheeses, fruits, salads, omelet bar etc. Dinner is just mouthwatering with grilled meats, lamb and chicken to perfection. Customer service is top notch at this hotel. Miri H, Food and Beverage Manager, accommodated our requests and got us everything we needed. All the staff goes out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Above all, hotel is Children friendly. Thank you!

Prisvärt, bra läge och fräscht

Pros: Bra pris i förhållande till standard, trevlig personal, 25 m pool.
Location: Hotellet ligger nära Knesset och busstationen. Läget är en bra bit från den gamla stadskärnan.
Bodde här två nätter och fick ett väldigt bra pris. Läget är bra om man kommer med buss och inte har något emot att gå eller ta spårvagn.

Good Value for Jerusalem

I am in Jerusalem quite often for both business and personal reasons, but this was the first time I have stayed at this property. Like most hotels in Jerusalem, the public areas are a bit dated and worn looking, but the rooms are newly renovated and offer fantastic views of Jerusalem and the surrounding area. The restaurant/bar is open late and offers a great selection of food (kosher), plus a full bar. The location is a bit removed from the Old City, but it is close to the light rail, which will have you there in 15 minutes. "Name brand" hotels in Israel tend to be quite expensive, so this property offers quite a bit of bang for your buck, given local norms. I recommend it without reservation for those seeking a full service business hotel in Jerusalem.

Not a Crown, a Coronet, a Diadem or Tiara!

The hotel is strictly a tourist hotel with many tour groups from all over coming in and staying. The rooms need renovating, the carpets are ugly, it just does not rate 4 stars. The nicest person is the gentleman in the restaurant who is delightful and understands service with a smile and a sense of humor! I asked the front desk 3 times to send someone to open the room safe and wasted while waiting for someone to appear, time better spent doing something constructive. Very disappointing.

Nice clean hotel

Very disappointed about the pool being out of service... But otherwise it was a good experience!!!

central location

Hotel was Rlly nice had a resteraunt great pool and spa. Was in a central location easy to walk or take a bus anywhere in Jerusalem. Hotel staff was nice, helpful and friendly.

In desperate need of a major face-lift. A/C not functioning in the room. Reception didn't pick up my call after 5 calls. (Not even to put me on hold...)

A disappointment for Crown Plaza

The amenities and the furniture look very old and not user friendly. Wi-Fi very bad reception. Although it is free wi-fi but I was only able to get connection at most 50% of the time I need it. Not to mention it was very slow and not steady. It was a very big draw back since I have to handle my business while I'm away and I'd find myself being cut off most of the time. The room has no ventilation and the switches for temperature control was broken. The reason I chose this hotel was because I have to attend a conference at the International Convention Centre right next to it. I must say, it was the best choice in terms of location for conference goers. But other than that, it is currently surrounded by many construction sites. Fortunately, there is a new cinema shopping mall with many restaurants and shops just a 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
