Not a great stay for JeruselmPosted Nov 1, 2013
The hotel was far from attractions. The hotel charges for wifi and local calls. If you are planning on being around the hotel for a while there are no near resturants and the hotel food is quite expensive. The staff really didn't seem to care about my expirence.Wouldnt stay there again.

Excellent Hotel and toursPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Breakfast buffet and how accomodating the staff was
Location: Location was only a 10 minuted train ride to Old city, if that. Didn't walk around the hotel that much because was always out exploring the city.
We were at this hotel for 5 days and we feel we could not have chosen a better hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a beautiful view of the Old City and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We had to be out of the hotel twice before breakfast was served and both times the hotel packed us each a box breakfast. The hotel is also conveniently located near the light rail. You walk down a hill, make a right, walk about 2 minutes, and you are there. The light rail was so easy to take and it brought us down to the Old City, Jaffa street, and near the Holocaust Museum. If you want to book a great tour go with Sandemans for the Holy tour. Ask if Ryan will be your guide. He was excellent. Our 4 hour tour actually turned into 6 because he provided us with so much interesting information. Also, Guided Tours Israel were excellent for our Biblical North Israel and Masada tour. Definitely spend the extra money and book the business class. Your tour will be much more enjoyable with only 11 - 14 people on the bus. See if you can get Ossy or Leah as your guides. They were so fun and passionate about their job. When we left the states we couldn't believe we were going to Jerusalem. We had the best vacation we have ever taken, and we have traveled out of the county 6 times before. The people are friendly and helpful and the country is beautiful. And you can't beat the history lessons you get. Also, always felt safe.

Dear Brian, Thank you so much for your kind words and enthusiasm. It is always great to hear from guests who's experiences clearly depict the service we strive to achieve for all our visitors; thank you for sharing and enabling us to give credit where it is due. We'll pass on your kind comments to the tour group too. As a frequent visitor to Jerusalem, we'll be looking forward to welcoming you back soon, with best regards, Avital Harel Guest Relations Manager

A/C needs replacingPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: food good, night manager excellent, hotel staff good, but too few of them working. blame the manager and assistant manager. I spoke to the assistant
Cons: more staff, front desk people, bell boys, greeters by the door
Location: too far away from old city for us, many streets closed because of Sukkot parade. 100 sheck for cab (should be 30)
Changed room because of air conditioning. 2nd room no better. All a/c units old and do not cool rooms to western standards. Also, hotel not located close to the action in old city. 300.00 a nite, what a rip off.

Clean, good customer service, quiet hotelPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, customer service
Cons: Have to pay for fitness room unless in executive room
Location: Little bit out of the way but five mins from light rail so that was fine
Lovely hotel, bit out of the way but a five minute walk from light rail. Lovely customer service, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast. Got a free upgrade to executive which was a nice bonus!
